1. Otherworldly inflatables at Pop Air

Give the kiddos a weekend to remember at the new Pop Air exhibition by the Balloon Museum! With large-scale inflatable installations, interactive artworks and lots of baubles and balloons, the kids are surely going to enjoy this one! 2. Stitch-themed Children’s Festival at GBTB (FREE!)

Children’s Festival 2025 is back at Gardens by the Bay and this year’s theme surrounds the adorable and mischievous Stitch from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch! Our favourite little blue alien will be the highlight of large-scale installations, including a 7-metre-tall “surf” slide, an inflatable forest, a ‘Space Adventure’, a sensory “beach” made of kinetic sand, and more! 3. See life-sized dinos at Jurassic World: The Experience

The Cloud Forest at Gardens by the Bay has turned into a dinosaur park! See life-sized dinosaurs, including an 8.5-metre-tall Brachiosaurus, a majestic T-Rex and even a petting zoo with baby dinosaurs. Keep your eyes peeled for plant species that date all the way back to the Jurassic Period. Standard rates for Cloud Forest apply. Get tickets here.

4. Interactive light installations at i Light Singapore 2025 (FREE!)

Head to Marina Bay, South Beach, Raffles Place and the Singapore River over the weekend of 29 May to 21 June and you’ll spot multi-sensory light installations. That’s right–i Light Singapore 2025 is back with 17 light installations in an SG60 theme. Look out for an illuminated garden, a piano walk, a reverse waterfall and more. 5. Circus shows, acrobatics & more at Flipside (FREE!)

Looking for free things to do this weekend in Singapore? Flipside 2025 has got you covered. This festival has oodles of kids’ theatre shows where you can catch circus performances, comedy shows, acrobatics and aerial shows, puppetry and more! Best part is, it’s all free! 6. Kids’ workshops & activities at Super Kids Expo (FREE!)

The Super Kids Expo is a free kids’ event that promises plenty of family fun over the weekend. Kids can take part in an array of free workshops and activities, including a chemistry lab, batik painting, storytelling and more. There are also kids’ performances, mascot appearances and freebies for the family. Parents can also check out the latest kids’ services and products, attend talks, and even donate pre-loved toys and books. Find out more here.

7. Bluey bouncy castle, meet-and-greet & more at NEX

Got a little Bluey fan at home? It’s time to make a beeline to NEX for Bluey’s Beach Party. Nothing will delight the kiddos more than the Bluey bouncy castle, which includes a giant slide and beach-themed obstacles. There’s also a Bluey and Bingo meet-and-greet on 7 and 8 June at 1pm, 4pm and 7pm. Kids can also take part in a Bluey workshop where they can build a windchime (7 and 8 June) or paper plate drum (14 and 15 June). There are some great weekend markets taking place this weekend! Check out the sustainable Rasa Sayang Sunday Market which has handmade and ethically produced crafts, jewellery fashion and more. Gallery Children’s Biennale opens this weekend at National Gallery Singapore. Kids can explore eight multi-sensory installations, all surrounding the theme “Tomorrow, We’ll Be…”. It’s all about Joy, Kindness, Love and Dream and is designed for kids of all ages. In fact, it’s the first time all installations are baby-friendly. 10. Arts & crafts activities at the Children’s Museum (FREE!)

Children’s Season 2025 is back at Children’s Museum Singapore and this year’s theme is all about ‘Belonging’. That said, the month of June is packed with programmes that allow kids to hone their natural curiosity and creativity. Kids can take part in an array of free workshops and craft activities, including building a “time-travelling machine”, crafting paper lighthouses, painting and a self-guided activity about a UFO! 11. Look out for Toothless in town (FREE!)

P.S.A., there is a ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ Toothless Touring Truck that’ll be making an appearance at multiple malls in town! Kids can head on over to conquer Viking riddles and puzzles, play a maze game, craft Viking bracelets and get temporary AR tattoos. Over at Bugis+, look out for the Isle of Berk Viking Village which has fun themed photo spots, craft workshops, a dragon training zone and other games that’ll get the kiddos moving and balancing. If you’re looking for fun things to do this weekend in Singapore, then head to GastroBeats 2025! 14. Jumptopia Lite: Bounce Beyond at Suntec City

There’s a pop-up inflatable playground at Suntec City and it’s got tonnes of fun for the kiddos. The little ones can bounce through inflatable desserts, complete with towering slides, winding tunnels, a rainbow ball pit and more. Tickets are $15 for a 30-minute play session, with perks for Suntec+ members and DBS/POSB Cardmembers. Remember to bring your non-slip socks!

15. Attend a National Family Festival 2025 near you (FREE!)

The National Family Festival 2025 kicks off this weekend at Singapore EXPO. No worries if you’re not in the East; this free kids’ event will be taking place across our Little Red Dot from 31 May to 29 June. 16. Bluey Outdoor Adventures at SAFRA Punggol

Bluey and family are landing at SAFRA Punggol this weekend and they’re here to stay throughout the June holidays. 17. Explore the new play space at ACM & Me (FREE*)

There’s a new children’s space at the Asian Civilisations Museum, and it’s got three thematic zones for kids to explore: ‘Who am I?’, ‘What’s my story?’ and ‘What can I create?’. Families can create self-portraits using magnetic shapes, reimagine mythical creatures and let a space of colours, lights and music move them. 18. Installations, treasure hunt & more at National Museum (FREE!)

The National Museum of Singapore’s Children’s Season has plenty of free activities for the little ones! Check out an interactive installation about the early migrants who built Singapore, a Mama Shop where kids can take the lead, an artefact hunt, a character meet-and-greet, and storytelling and screening sessions. 19. Hang out with Disney’s Stitch at VivoCity (FREE!)

Bring your little Stitch fans to VivoCity this weekend for lots of wholesome cosmic fun. Snap lots of photos at the 626 Party photo zones, including a 4.5-metre-tall Stitch installation. There are also Stitch-themed game stations (separate charges apply), a Mini Express Train ride and more. Finally, cop some Stitch march and blind boxes at the Miniso Stitch Fluffy Pop-Up, the first of its kind in Singapore. More info here.

20. Kid-friendly performances at Cultural Extravaganza 2025 (FREE!)

If you’re looking for free things to do this weekend, check out the Cultural Extravaganza 2025 at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre. This free annual programme has engaging performances that’ll introduce kids to local Chinese arts and culture in a relaxed space–all for free! There’s the sensory-based theatrical performances ‘The Spice Mission’ that’s all about sambal chilli; a performance about Singapore’s kampong days to today’s modern housing; as well as a fun dance performance by children! 21. Attend a storytelling sesh at Gateway Kids Club (FREE!)

Did you know that there are free kids’ storytelling sessions every Saturday at the Gateway Theatre? 22. Watch a free outdoor movie by the beach at Sentosa (FREE!)

If you’re looking for free things to do over the weekend, head over to Sentosa to enjoy Movies by the Beach at Palawan Kidz City Roof Garden. Free movie screenings take place every Saturday and Sunday at 7pm. All you have to do is bring your picnic blanket and basket, and good company. No pre-bookings are required, so just show up! 23. Head to a public library: FREE things to do this weekend in Singapore

Singapore’s public libraries are wonderfully equipped with plenty of kids’ books and magazines to entertain kids of all ages. We love that this is one of the best free things to do in Singaporewith kids, and a great rainy day activity over the weekend. These libraries in Singapore have the best kids’ facilities, including kids reading corners, colourful and vibrant decor, educational corners and more!

24. Watch a free movie at Nightflix Somerset (FREE!)

Every first Saturday of the month, head down to Somerset Youth Park for a free outdoor movie screening at Nightflix Somerset! All you have to do is bring your own headphones, a picnic mat and movie buddies (aka your kids) to enjoy a free movie screening–perfect if you’re wondering what to do in Singapore this weekend. 25. Head to a Fire Station Open House: FREE things to do this weekend
Does your kiddo love fire engines? Did you know you can take them to see a working Fire Station on the weekend for free? Selected Fire Stations are open for visits on Saturday mornings over two time slots – 9am to 9:50am or 10am to 10:50am. Both timeslots are guided tours. Tots will love this experience where they can learn about the cool Emergency Vehicles and their capabilities, watch a demo on donning the full firefighting protective gear, and see how the equipment is used (nothing beats seeing those massive sprays in person!).

26. Water playgrounds: FREE things to do this weekend in Singapore

Looking for free things to do this weekend with the kids? Head to one of the many free water playgrounds around Singapore! You’re spoilt for choice–from the animal-themed play space at the free rooftop water playground at Tampines 1 Mall to the ever-popular Far East Organization Children’s Garden with its multiple fountains. There’s also the newly-opened Yew Tee Lifestyle Corridor in the West and Canberra Cove in the North-East!

27. Visit a petting zoo or animal farm: Best things to do this weekend

Bring your little animal lovers to interact with animals at petting zoos and animal farms in Singapore. Meet the friendly goats of Hay Dairies, see over 22,000 crocodiles at Long Kuan Hung Crocodile Farm, or do some longkang fishing at Qian Hu Fish Farm. Old-school bouncy castles at Marina Square

This one might very well be for parents rather than kids, but you can bring the whole family to relive your childhood at Marina Square this weekend. Taking over the central atrium is Playgrounds of the Past, Bounced into the Present, essentially a playground of three bouncy playgrounds that take the shape of Singapore’s most iconic playgrounds. Kiddos can explore the iconic Dragon Slide, Pelican Maze and Elephant Playground in a modern, fun way! There are also old-school games onsite. Visit the new Singapore Oceanarium

S.E.A. Aquarium has got a glow-up! Now back as the new Singapore Oceanarium, this beloved kids’ attraction in Singapore is now three times larger than before, with 22 zones! We’re mega excited about new additions such as the Ancient Waters and Conquering Land, which has prehistoric ocean animals (perfect for dinosaur-loving kids) and other zones that aim to bring visitors emotionally closer to marine life. Visit the new Chinatown Heritage Centre

The Chinatown Heritage Centre has reopened, and stepping inside is like taking a trip back in time. Show the kiddos what life used to be like in the 1950s, with artefacts and recreations of what the interiors of these restored shophouses used to look like–clutter and all. Visit the newly revamped SuperPark

Following a massive upgrade, SuperPark Singapore reopens this weekend with 13 new installations across three revamped signature zones! Check out the Freestyle Hall with climbing walls and trampolines; the Games Arena with 18 interactive stations to test your agility, accuracy and teamwork; and the Adventure Area that’s essentially a huge playground for kids to explore. New comics & games library at Punggol Coast Mall

Fans of comic books and games, it’s time to make a beeline for Punggol Coast Mall! There’s a new pop-up Comics and Games Library that features over 7,000 comics, game-themed books and graphic novels. You can find popular comic book titles, and even kids’ hits such as Dog Man and Bluey. There are even board games visitors can play!

Play at the new PropNex Family Zone at GBTB (FREE!)

Looking for new things to do this weekend with the kids? Head to the newly opened PropNex Family Zone at Gardens by the Bay. Inspired by the Supertrees of GBTB, this fab outdoor playground has lots of climbing and play structures for kids, and is built to accommodate inclusivity! Splash around at the new Canberra Cove (FREE!)

There’s a new water playground in Singapore and it’s located at the Bukit Canberra community hub! Canberra Cove offers plenty of fun for when the weather is scorching. It’s divided into two sections: one with shallow cascading falls that little kids will love splashing around, and another with fun water fountains and streams. Explore the new Rainforest Wild Asia

New art installations at Punggol Waterway (FREE!)

There are three new art installations along Punggol Waterway and the kids are sure to appreciate them. Check out the huge coloured pencils near Waterway Point where you can also pick up snippets of Punggol’s past mangrove habitats. Head towards the Adventure Bridge to spot a crocodile arch that pays homage to the reptiles that used to live in Punggol’s mangroves. Check out the new Mandai Boardwalk (FREE!)

The Mandai Boardwalk is now open! Head over to check out the new 3.3km-long trail–we hear it’s stroller-friendly, so it’ll be a breezy stroll through the Upper Seletar Reservoir and the Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Visit the newly reopened Big Sister’s Island

After a three-year closure, Big Sister’s Island is now reopened! Bring the kids for a weekend of snorkelling and exploring the natural beauty of the island. There are beaches, lagoons, corals and a 230-metre forest trail that’ll make you feel like you’re nowhere near Singapore. Sister’s Island requires a 30-minute boat ride and you can get there from the Marina South Pier.

Play giant chess or lawn bowls (FREE!)

Did you know that you can hire out free Giant Chess sets from Sports Hub if you book ahead? Make it a family game. It’s brainpower, and a physical workout, as you will have to use both your hands and feet to make the chess pieces move. Go on a treasure hunt: try Geocaching! (FREE!)

Wondering what to do this weekend in Singapore? Geocaching involves finding treasures (called geocaches) hidden by fellow geocachers–you find the clues to where each treasure is hidden using the GPS on your mobile phone. All you’ll need to do is download the Geocaching app (the basic access is free), look for a geocache near you and start hunting. Once you find the treasure (which is often a small waterproof container containing a piece of paper where those who found it can write their name) you rehide it in the same place and log your find on the app. Geocaching is a fun way to get the kids out in nature and explore your neighbourhood.
Borealis Northern Lights at Supertree Grove: FREE things to do this weekend
Borealis at Gardens by the Bay is a free immersive light and sound installation at Supertree Grove created by Switzerland-based artist Dan Ache. Using layers of light and cloud particles, the magical splendour of the Northern Lights is recreated. Borealis happens on Mondays and the weekend only (timing below) and is in addition to the Garden Rhapsody light and sound show, where the lights on the Supertrees dance to a changing musical soundtrack that takes place daily at 7.45pm and 8.45pm.
