Get ready for Gardens by the Bay’s Children’s Festival (24 May to 15 June 2025) featuring Disney’s Stitch! Read on to find out what’s in store for kids.

Looking for things to do during the June school holidays? Children’s Festival at Gardens by the Bay is back from 24 May to 15 June 2025, with large-scale Stitch-themed installations play areas and fun activities. Just in time for the release of Disney’s Lilo & Stitch, which opens in cinemas on 22 May. Children can explore the value of friendship and family as they discover how to appreciate and accept themselves just as they are.

Gardens by the Bay’s signature Children’s Festival is an annual kids’ event that takes place during the mid-year school holidays. This year marks its 11th edition, and Stitch from Disney’s Lilo & Stitch is the main character for this outdoor carnival for the first time ever. Families can snap tonnes of photos with large-scale installations and most of the activities are free!

The Great ‘Ohana Wave: A nearly 7-metre-tall slide for adventurous kiddos to “surf” down from the top, giving them a confidence boost!

Forest of Belonging: An inflatable forest where visitors can uncover hidden messages.

Space Adventure: Hop onboard a swing car to power up light beams and complete missions.

Stitch’s Mischief Makers: The little ones will love this one; this “beach” has kinetic sand for sensory and tactile play, where kids can get creative.


Performances & carnival games at Children’s Festival 2025

Besides its fun installations, Children’s Festival 2025 is back with lots of entertainment for the kids. Stick around for Disney’s Lilo & Stitch meet and greet sessions, as well as dance performances with games and lots of laughter. There’s also a special-edition Garden Rhapsody light and sound show titled ‘The Way to Ohana’!

There are also some fun workshops the kids will loved–all Stitch-themed. Look forward to cosmic and floral crafts such as lanterns, slime, leis and more. Note that all workshops come with a fee of $15/pax and take place on various dates and timings here.

The Great Island Series performance:
When: 24, 25, 31 May & 1, 14, 15 June, 5pm – 7pm

When: 24 May – 15 June, 7.45pm & 8.45pm
Where: Supertree Grove
How much: Free!

Overall, we love that Children’s Season 2025 makes for a fun thing to do over the weekend in Singapore, as well as a free June holiday activity with the kiddos! Plan your day out with the fam here:
