- Finance and HR Executive

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and versatile individual to join our amazing team as a Finance and HR Executive. We need someone who has a solid understanding of both human resources and accounting principles. In this role, you'll be responsible for handling a variety of HR and finance-related tasks, making sure everything is accurate and in line with our company policies and regulations.

Role and Responsibilities in Finance:
Handle general bookkeeping and accounting duties on a day-to-day basis.
Manage accounts receivable administration, including the management of aging debt and debtors' information.
Administer accounts payable processes.
Conduct daily bank reconciliations for the entity.
Manage invoicing activities.
Manage sales commission calculation and tracking.
Assist in updating active spreadsheets and reconciling data with Xero and other data sources.
Ensure timely billing to clients, verify receipts and payment details with transaction documents.
Input of suppliers’ bills and process credit notes/adjustments
Assist in updating internal spreadsheets for end-of-month financial reporting.
Assist in payroll processing, including expense claim reimbursements.
Perform basic ad hoc analytical calculations as needed.
Assist in completing vendor forms
Assist in finalizing accounts for statutory lodgements and year-end accounts reviews (e.g., GST, Accounts Review, IR8A, IR21).
Assist in liaising with internal teams, auditors and company secretary as needed
Provide annual leave cover for finance related tasks as needed

Responsibilities in HR:
Administer and execute HR functions and processes (recruitment, orientation, contract renewals, exit management, trainings, performance management, leave administration, employee benefits, compensation, awards, communication, staff wellness programs, employee team bonding events).
Maintain employee records and update HR databases (new hires and all leaves).
Prepare all HR related letters, forms and claims.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of HR reports and surveys.
Manage rewards, recognition, compensation, and benefits with Senior Management.
Enforce company policies and practices.
Responsible for accurate and timely payroll, CPF submission and IR8A computation and processing.
Perform other assigned tasks.
Provide annual leave cover for HR related tasks as needed

Requirements
A degree in Accounting, Finance, CPA, ACCA or relevant discipline is preferred, with minimum two years of relevant experience.
Experience with HR is an added advantage.
Experience in accounting software required; Xero software will be an advantage.
Proficiency in MS Excel is essential, literacy in other MS Office suites required (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to exercise judgment in managing confidential or sensitive information.
Meticulous attention to detail and follow-through; perform tasks with a high degree of accuracy with the ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

We’re on the hunt for someone creative and organised who is keen to create engaging family content. If you have an eye for detail and amazing writing skills we want to hear from you!

Candidate Requirements:
Reporting to the Managing Editor you will contribute story ideas, create engaging content, update existing posts and write original high-traffic content. We are looking for someone who has writing experience ideally in Singapore publishing or digital media and has an understanding of search and its role in driving traffic and engagement.
