With the latest announcements of Singapore exiting the Circuit Breaker in phases, we’re hoping to grab every chance we can get to make the most out of the summer school holidays come July – and that includes shipping the kiddos off to summer camp (even if just for a few hours a day!).
Across Singapore there are a wide range of activities available for toddlers all the way up to teens. Whether your kids are keen to take a mix-and-match approach with a variety of one-day or one-week camps, there’s sure to be a summer activity that’s suitable for every interest from arts to sports, tech, music and more!
We’ve organised the holiday camps by category, and have mentioned if transport and snacks are provided. Some of these camp providers have also issued Covid-19 advisories to ensure plenty of mandatory temperature checks, frequent disinfections and small group sizes to adhere to safe distancing rules. This rising-star camp offers so many fun outdoor activities for kids! From archery to badminton, treasure hunting, rope pulling, obstacle runs, football, rugby, and even face painting, there’s something for every active kiddo. Look forward to over 50 different exciting activities and sports to keep kiddos entertained! Singafit also ensures there’s learning alongside the fun thanks to their CARES (Courage, Appreciation, Respect, Effort, Selflessness) programme. Camps will be conducted in multiple locations, with more centralised venues such as Tiong Bahru Park being added to the list. Singafit is offering both half day and full day camps for the first time, giving parents a variety of options to suit their needs with reduced rates to help ease the current financial uncertainties. Extra safety measures include regular temperature checks, designated meeting points and play areas for every group, with a coach assigned to each group to ensure kids wash and sanitise their hands between activities. Each location and meeting point will be wiped down by the coaches every day.

Five days, six hours a day of friendship, fun and outdoor energy burning! Centaurs camps are multi-sports, including activities like obstacle races, capture-the-flag, cycling, soccer, rounders, basketball, mini Olympics and more. Centaurs has their own purpose-built obstacle course in the jungle with slides, climbing, swings, races and mud so kids can be tech-free and camp out in nature while learning new skills. Every camp includes a mountain biking programme led by pro cycling coaches — master obstacles on two wheels, learn tricks, and go off-road. Those who can’t cycle yet can learn to ride a bike! Each 5-day camp includes two excursions to active experience providers to try activities such as rock climbing, kayaking, high ropes courses and more.

Karate Nation’s Cyril Martins holds a 2nd DAN Karate Black Belt from the Japan Karate Association, and has participated and won in regional competitions. His Karate Kids Summer Camp will give an introduction to karate, teach self-defence skills and the essential values of karate. British Council’s Online and Face-to-Face Year-round Study Camps are intensive holiday programmes aimed at Primary and Secondary students (all levels, from beginners to advanced!) who wish to develop their English within a safe, fun and supportive environment. Students study a different topic each day, using a unique approach of hands-on learning to ignite interest and improve their English skills and awareness of the world. Each online camp promises interactive online learning with smaller camp sizes for individual attention and support, along with games and fun activities, group research projects, presentations and more. Face-to-face camps will offer experiential learning such as experiments and drama games, all taught by internationally qualified and experienced teachers. Parents can check their kids’ progress for both camps and kids earn certificates at the end of each camp.

Known for their expertise in fine arts, ARThaus is ready to conduct camps in small groups of 6 pax to 1 artist for their Summer Holiday Program. We’re all familiar with Centre Stage as a performing and creative arts school, right mama? Offering classes in Early Years, Dance, Creative Drama, Musical Theatre, Stage Training and Singing for students aged 18 months to 18 years, they now present Centre Stage Interactive (CSi) holiday camps! There are two elements to these online classes — pre-recorded ‘on demand’ classes you can refer back to at any time; and a live interactive class (via Zoom) where you can catch up and collaborate with your teacher and friends in real time. The wide range of subjects include Drama, Dance, Musical Theatre and Voice. Students can opt for one-to-one coaching with any of their teachers in a specialist area of their choice! These camps have been designed specifically to keep kids active, encouraging them to get up on their feet moving and use their imaginations to transport themselves from their living rooms to the CS Dance Studio, Big Stage, or a far off adventure land!

Our Art Studio offers one- and two-day camps, lasting 4 hours a day. Kids can look forward to various fun, hands on craft activities in each day, including tie-dye, tote bag/rock painting, clay making and more. Participants can also choose from various workshops like canvas painting, clay making, water colour, drawing/sketching, and working with Chinese ink. Our Art Studio’s programmes are available daily and not just during school holidays, with flexible timing (as per student’s preferred slot, booking required 3 days in advance), small class size, minimum 1 pax to start, various fun activities for every camp and activities change every 6 months.
