Only 15 youths are selected each year for this rigorous training, and most participants will go on to build careers in Singapore’s arts and creative scenes – think actors, stage managers, filmmakers and more. Participants will be enrolled in acting classes and taught playwriting and performance skills without having to worry about financial burdens. All you need to do to be considered for enrolment is to email the BYT team for an audition that comprises a short interview and a monologue presentation from a published Singaporean play.
