We know some call it the silly season, but for kiddos Christmas in Singapore is a time for serious fun — and creating some seriously wonderful memories. From blizzards to Christmas crafts, here are 20 ways to make merry with your little ones!

The Great Christmas Village and Christmas on a Great Street

The Great Christmas Village has expanded and will now take place at three venues along Orchard Road from 12pm to 10pm daily until 26 December. You can also wander the length of Orchard Road admiring the lights, totally free and a quintessential Singapore Christmas activity!

Grange Road Car Park is where the kids will want to spend hours! Look out for Mini TOYBOX by Hasbro – featuring an obstacle course by NERF, My Little Pony crafts, a huge lighthouse bouncy castle and a human claw experience where kids get strapped into a lever and have to try grab a My Little Pony amongst the foam (it’s harder than it looks with those big gloves on!). Then there’s a tea cup ride, bumper cars, a haunted house ride, lots of carnival win games and an exhilarating vertical spinner ride! Location: Grange Road Car Park, (Behind [email protected]).

The Annual Wild Rice Christmas Pantomime
Last year’s Singaporean spin on A Christmas Carol had the whole family in stitches, so we can’t wait to check out Peter Pan in Serangoon Gardens! The Snowman: A Heartwarming Christmas Classic
Based on Raymond Brigg’s much-loved book and featuring Howard Blake’s classic song Walking In The Air, this enchanting live show has thrilled audiences throughout the world since first appearing on stage over twenty years ago. If you’re in the mood for a nostalgic Christmas classic, you’ll want to bring your kids along to see The Snowman. When a young boy’s snowman comes to life on Christmas Eve, the two set off on a night-time quest for adventure. They meet Father Christmas, dancing penguins, reindeer and crowds of The Snowman’s friends, but will they escape evil Jack Frost and get back home for Christmas morning?

Savour a Delectable High Tea at Raffles Hotel in Aid of SRT’s Student Education Fund
Singapore Repertory Theatre, in aid of SRT’s Student Education Fund, invites you to spend a lovely afternoon this Giving Week with your children in the company of the cast of The Gingerbread Man. Enjoy a spread of delectable delights by the Raffles Hotel’s culinary team. There are also fun activities for your children’s entertainment, and a special piano performance by the talented Danielle Iserlis. The aim is to raise $20,000 for SRT’s Student Education Fund which will ensure that in 2020, they can invite more than 700 children from charities including Beyond Social Services, YMCA of Singapore, Care Corner and the Autism Association of Singapore.

Nightly Avalanche & a ‘Garden Wonderland’ at Tanglin Mall

In addition to its iconic Christmas decorations, Tanglin Mall is kicking things up a notch this year with its Garden Wonderland festivities! First off, you’ve got their famous evening “avalanche” (where kids get covered in foam) and the magical evening “snow”. And of course there’s Santa’s Workshop at the Level 2 Atrium, featuring a sing-a-long and storytelling session in addition to the all-important Santa Meet & Greet and photo op. In the days leading up to Christmas there’ll also be an artisanal Christmas Market to get in that last-minute shopping.

FestiveFurama Christmas Carnival: Snow is in the Forecast!
Head along to the FestiveFurama Christmas Carnival – a 2-month long festive celebration with a slew of pop-up stores, enriching workshops and endless fun. With a cornucopia of amazing promotions from hotel stays to delicious family feasts, you are invited to stay, learn, eat and play at Furama! Enjoy free-flow popcorn and cotton candy, a VR gaming zone, a 12-foot Christmas tree with falling snow(!) and lots of fun performances and activities. A Small, Small World Tour at Bedok Mall
Hop aboard a train ride and go on a mini world tour at Bedok Mall! Sports Hub Community Play Day – Season of Giving
Have the most wonderful time this Christmas at the Sports Hub Community Play Day at OCBC Square! Geneco’s Sustainable Christmas at Wisma Atria
Held at Wisma Atria’s Indoor Atrium at Level 1, a series of activities will be lined up at the Geneco Christmas Lodge to encourage shoppers to go green this holiday season. Shoppers can stop by the lodge to enjoy a free cup of warm coffee, freshly brewed from sustainably sourced beans. In addition, the lodge will also house an interactive installation, where shoppers can try ‘generating electricity’ by cycling to light up an LED Christmas tree. This year, Christmas will be lit!

Uncle Ringo Presents the Great Circus of Europe + Family Carnival
Everyone loves the circus, and this Christmas in Singapore we’ll be treated to the Great Circus of Europe as they come to Singapore for the first time!
