18 – 26 August 2023
7.30pm – midnight daily
The Singapore Night Festival, one of the red dot’s more anticipated art festivals, is back again in August for its 14th edition! Themed Singapore, the Great Port City, this year’s Singapore Night Festival will light up the Bras Basah.Bugis precinct. There’s an exciting line-up of programmes to look forward to including dynamic projection mappings featuring works by local artists, Night Lights installations and more! Each display will uncover the beauty of Singapore’s growth and evolution over the years since its early role as a port city. In addition to interactive activities, you can also look forward to unique food and retail experiences.
If last year’s edition serves as a guide of what to expect, then you can probably look forward to live performances by creative and talented artists, musicians and more. We certainly hope that local artists will also host Masterclass workshops like they did last year! But, there isn’t news on this yet, so stay tuned to this page for more details!
Highlights of Singapore Night Festival 2023:
1. Projection Mapping
Projection mapping is one of our favourite highlights of the annual Singapore Night Festival. It’s so fun to wander around all the buildings and watch the buildings come to life during the Singapore Night Festival. You can search all the different displays on this Festival Map and most of these are free and easy to walk to enjoy at your leisure.
2. Night Lights: 13 Installations

This year, there will be a total of 13 night light installations that will light up the streets of Singapore and invite us to explore Singapore’s evolution through the years. A Stone’s Throw (Away) pictured above was created based on the legend of the Singapore Stone that was thrown from Fort Canning Hill to the Singapore River. This ‘reconstructed’ relic comes to life when festival-goers stand in front of the panels.
