Watch your kiddo’s face light up when they see their favourite cartoon characters come to life with these mall shows and meet & greets. Bluey, Peppa Pig, Robocar POLI and The Smurfs’ characters are coming to town!

The Christmas season has begun, and there are plenty of exciting festive events for you and your kids to enjoy! To add to the fun we round up the best malls with free shows plus where to spot your kid’s favourite characters out for meet-and-greets. Psst if you are looking for Santa meet and greets (and Santa photo ops to frame!) read this.

Character Meet & Greets and Free Mall Shows For Kids!

1. The Smurfs’ Meet & Greet: City Square Mall

Have you heard? The Smurfs will be at City Square Mall this Christmas, where you will find an exciting festive Christmas MarketPlace that will feature exquisitely handcrafted items. Catch SMU’s Chamber Choir as they perform festive songs in acapella style (16 – 17 December 2023, 2pm & 7pm). Happening from 17 November to 31 December 2023, be wow-ed by a sea of adorable blue Smurfs and spot your favourite characters such as Papa Smurf, Smurfette and even Gargamel all over City Square Mall!

2. Meet Robocar POLI at KINEX & United Square

Calling all fans of Robocar POLI – head down to KINEX for Frosty Holiday Magic and a ‘Winter Wonderland Musical’, where you’ll get to watch Poli, Roy, Amber and Helly live on stage. Join your favourite Robocar POLI team on a festive adventure as they work together on a rescue escapade. And for those who want to get up close with their favourite characters for a meet & greet, simply spend $30 in a single receipt to redeem a Meet & Greet queue number one hour before the show. 3. Peppa Pig Meet & Greet at Giant 

If your little ones can’t get enough of Peppa Pig, now’s your chance to watch their faces light up in delight as Peppa Pig and George will be making appearances at selected Giant stores islandwide! We hear that there will also be lots of exciting kids’ activities at Peppa Pig Wonderland at Giant Tampines Hypermarket.

4. Meet & Greet with Kiztopia’s Mascot

If you haven’t been to the newly opened Woodleigh Mall, here’s your chance to take the kids. For three days only, kids can get up close and personal with Kiztopia Club’s mascot, Bell the Bear, who’s known for his friendliness.

5. Meet & Greet with Bluey at Singapore Comic Con

Bluey is coming back to visit her favourite fans at Singapore Comic Con 2023! Get ready to see the lovable blue heeler who’s won over families worldwide. Look forward to a refreshed Bluey Live Experience, where you’ll get to join in the Bluey and Bingo show for the first time ever, discover how Bluey was born from early sketches and even take part in a fun parent and child scavenger hunt to win an exclusive craft pack. 6. Roving Mr and Mrs Santa at Suntec City

Suntec City transforms into an adorable Holiday Wonderland this Christmas, highlighted by Singapore’s largest LINE FRIENDS-themed mega ball pit with 4-metre slides and carousel swings! There will also be roving entertainment during the weekends with performances by local artistes. Mr and Mrs Santa Claus will also be making an appearance, so be sure to say hello! Don’t miss out on the snowfall show and snag some adorable LINE FRIENDS merchandise including special edition plushies!

How much: Spend a minimum of $50 to get free entry to the playspace. Simply present your receipt to the customer service counter to redeem an entry pass, which allows up to three people to play for 20 minutes. Kids must be at least 85cm tall, and those aged 12 and below must be supervised by an adult. Everyone must wear long pants and socks to enter.

7. Dino Mascots at Changi Festive Village

Kids will absolutely love the candylicious fun at Changi Festive Village. Not only is there a confectionary-themed carnival, real snow and ice slides, but kids will also get to meet Santa and a Dino Mascot at Terminal 3. Plus, there will also be exciting performances including a marching band at Candy Wonderland, Lighted Fairy Stilt Walkers (every Saturday at Candy Carnival 4pm – 5pm and Candy Wonderland 6pm – 7pm) and a Juggler/Busker (every Friday from 24 November 2023, 6pm – 7pm) that will leave everyone in awe! 8. Santa Mascot Meet and Greet at VivoCity

Santa Claus is coming to VivoCity! With plenty of places to shop till you drop, VivoCity is always a happening mall for families especially during Christmas. Catch eclectic live performances and exciting festive activities and get in the festive mood as Santa and his helpers roam throughout the mall. And don’t miss the 15m Christmas tree and snow show outside the mall.

9. Transformer Mascots at Singapore Comic Con

The highly anticipated Singapore Comic Con is coming back, and if you or your kids are die-hard fans of the Transformers series, you don’t want to miss this. In addition to super cool Transformers figurines and limited-edition merchandise for purchase, you can also snap a photo with Autobot Leader, Optimus Prime! 10. Sanrio Characters Meet & Greet at Marina Square

Calling all Sanrio fans! Plan a day to head down to Marina Square‘s Christmas Wanderland where you’ll get to ring in the festive season with your favourite Sanrio characters with exciting photo ops, an enchanting Pink Christmas Tree, colourful ball pit, a jumbo bowling pit, and snow fall (snow show timings here)! Kids (and grown-ups!) can spread Christmas cheer with a customised Sanrio festive card. Plus, don’t miss the heart-warming Christmas carolling performance and a meet & greet with Hello Kitty and Pompompurin.

11. Meet Otah at HomeTeamNS Bedok

Head over to HomeTeamNS Bedok this festive season for an immersive kid-friendly Christmas event – ‘Operation: Santa Trap’, where kids will get to search for clues and solve puzzles to uncover surprises in the clubhouse. Plus, kids can also snap a photo with Otah for free at the meet and greet session on 23 December!
