Do your kids ever say “I wish it would snow in Singapore!”? They’re in luck! Here’s where you can find snow in Singapore and where to watch snowfall this festive season–including a place with REAL snow to make snowmen and snow angels!

Looking to get in the festive spirit with snow in Singapore? The most wonderful time of the year is nearly here! Just because we live in the tropics doesn’t mean we have to miss out on snowfall in Singapore (even if it’s artificial foam snow). This holiday season, put a smile on your kiddo’s face by taking them to experience snow in Singapore at these Christmas events. Many of these snowfall experiences are FREE, and others come with plenty of entertainment and activities kids will love.

1. Snowfall at Gardens By The Bay: Carnival games & festive market

Every year, we look forward to Gardens by the Bay’s Christmas Wonderland, where the kids can experience snow in Singapore. While it isn’t real snow (it’s foam), kids will still have a blast. Plus, there are always plenty of photo-taking opportunities at larger-than-life light installations, festive performances, carnival games and a festive market. Deets are still under wraps for this year’s edition of Christmas Wonderland, so be sure to check back again for more info!

2. Snow at Orchard Road: Nightly snowfall shows (FREE!)

Orchard Road’s Christmas Light-Up is a highly anticipated Christmas event every year. In addition to exciting carnival games, fun rides, buskers and a Christmas market, you can also look forward to two nightly snowfall shows. Wander through two Christmas Villages and snag festive treats on the way. Marvel at the 14-metre-tall Christmas tree as you soak in the festivities, and don’t forget to snap some pics!

3. Snow at Suntec City: Three snowfall shows on the weekends

Head downtown to experience a Pokémon-themed Christmas at Suntec City featuring fun-filled festive activities! Step into a holiday cabin to enjoy friendly competition with Pokémon games, experience the world of Pokémon legends and battle your friends with Pokémon GO! Plus, get your groove on with a Pokémon Dance Parade, and don’t miss a meet & greet with some of your favourite characters. Plus, get in the festive spirit with their weekend 10-minute snowfall shows by the dazzling 12-metre Christmas tree!

4. Snow at Changi Festive Village: Carnival games, rides & snowfall (FREE!)

Every year, we look forward to taking the kids to Changi Festive Village, which always promises a sleigh-load of Christmas-themed activities. Last year, the kids enjoyed a whimsical Hello Kitty-themed wonderland, carnival games, rides, adorable Sanrio merchandise and regular foam snowfall sessions. 5. Snow at Universal Studios Singapore: Festive performances

Every year, Universal Studios Singapore transforms into a festive wonderland. Last year, Wicked fans had a blast getting up close with the Wizard himself, interacting with gorgeous sets inspired by the film, watching a spectacular projection-mapping show and witnessing snowfall to herald the festive season! 6. Snowfall at Jewel Changi Airport: Enchanting light & sound show (FREE!)

Jewel Changi Airport is known for its nightly light and sound shows, and every Christmas, we look forward to their special Christmas Light & Music Showcase and nightly snowfall experience! 7. Bubble Shower at Marina Square: Care Bear meet & greet

This Christmas, get nostalgic as Care Bears take over Marina Square with a Care-a-Lot wonderland, magical Bubble Shower and an exclusive meet-and-greet with some of your favourite Care Bears! Watch your little one light up when the Bubble Shower takes place. Plus, don’t miss exciting art and craft activities for everyone!

8. Iconic snow show & bubble shower: Tanglin Mall & Pasir Ris Mall

Tanglin Mall’s signature snowfall event is back this year, offering the perfect backdrop for festive photos! Look forward to a daily snow show with an additional show on the weekends. At Pasir Ris Mall, kids can look forward to a joyful bubble show for extra holiday cheer!

9. Real Snow at Snow City Singapore: Ice slide & bumper cars

Snow City’s ever-popular snowfall and blizzard experiences are one of the few places offering real snow in Singapore! Book a two-hour play session to play with snowballs, see ice sculptures, ride snow tubes and have plenty of winter fun. Glide down a new 120-metre-long giant Ice Glacier Luge, and try Singapore’s only bumper car arena on ice! Plus, step into a mesmerising IG-worthy 30-metre gallery with interactive displays.

Here, you’ll find larger-than-life experiences that will transport you to whimsical realms across Resorts World Sentosa, Sentosa Sensoryscape and Palawan Beach. Snow At Trifecta: Snow village with sports (FREE!)

Head to Trifecta to experience the festive magic this Christmas. For one day only, Trifecta and Club Med invite you to a winter wonderland at ‘Ski in the City’, where kids can try skiing or snowboarding. Mums and dads can check out the mini Christmas market and enjoy winter treats like hot chocolate, mulled wine, a charcuterie bar and more. Capitol Singapore’s annual Christmas event is back! This year, look forward toa fabulous Christmas market, a Singing Tree by the Voices of Singapore, roving bands and more. The highlight is the daily ‘snowfall’ shows at the Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza, where picturesque ‘snow’ will fall against the backdrop of the Capitol Theatre and the Singing Tree!

Snow At CHANEL: Snowy forest & winter wonderland (FREE!)

Step into The Magical House of CHANEL at Marina Bay Sands, where you’ll get to walk through an immersive snowy forest experience. Take a peek into the festive surprises in store for you this Christmas by CHANEL including exclusive fragrances, makeup products and skincare products. Entry to this winter wonderland is free, but limited slots are available. So, register in advance to avoid the long queue!

Get ready for some holiday magic as Suntec City brings holiday magic with their first-ever collaboration with POP MART. Celebrate the festive season with your favourite POP BEAN characters. Look out for a larger-than-life inflatable world and get up with POP BEAN characters for a photo opportunity. Foam Snow At KINEX: Daily snow play sessions

There were plenty of Christmas-themed activities to ring in the festive season at KINEX last Christmas. Kids enjoyed ROBOCAR POLI mall shows, roving Santa and Snowman and daily snow play sessions, while grown-ups delighted in Christmas markets and fairs. Foam Snow At The Star Vista: Giant Christmas tree (FREE!)

Every year, The Star Vista hosts an annual ‘snowfall’ show featuring a giant Christmas tree and various photo-ops around the mall! Details for this year’s festivities have yet to be released, but we’re pretty sure this will be another spectacle that you don’t want to miss. So, check back again later for more info.

Foam Snow At Causeway Point & Waterway Point: Synthetic ice-skating rink

Heartlanders, rejoice! You don’t have to head downtown to experience snow in Singapore. Last year, Causeway Point and Waterway Point transformed into the ultimate Christmas destination for the whole family! From Friday to Sunday, there were hourly snow shows and a stunning 5-metre Christmas tree! Kids also enjoyed plenty of activities including a synthetic ‘ice-skating’ rink (get 30-minutes of ‘ice skate’ time for $10)! Deets for this year have not yet been released, so check back again later.
