There are hundreds of thousands of light bulbs covering the gorgeous Italian Luminarie sculptures imported from Italy, highlighted by the massive Spalliera Castel del Monte at the centre. All in all there are 40 light sculptures across the park, not to mention the festive Garden Rhapsody light show each night, in which the Supertrees are illuminated in time with a variety of classic Christmas songs (followed by a “blizzard”).

Besides a wonderfully jolly and authentic Santa (we think that’s actually his beard!), Cluny is kitted out with the most stylish traditional decorations, from wreaths and pine garlands, to twinkling lights. Santa even hangs out in a cozy chair by a fireplace with a Nutcracker nearby. If certain other areas are too commercial and over the top for your tastes, Cluny is the perfect antidote with its traditional holiday trimmings. NB: 15 December was the last day to see Santa at Cluny; click here for other options!
Cluny Court, 501 Bukit Timah Road, Singapore 259760
If you’ve driven down Holland Road at night this December, chances are you’ve seen the gorgeous lights dripping from the trees at the bottom of Dempsey Hill. It’s well worth heading to the top of the hill and taking a stroll around to see the magnificent decorations adorning the lush vegetation.

Children can also get into the festive spirit with Christmas carols and storytelling courtesy of the winter special, A Winter Fairy Tale, along with interactive meet-and-greets. Plus there’s the first-ever Christmas Fair at Science Centre!
