The most wonderful time of the year is nearly here with Christmas fairs and markets happening around the island and Orchard Road is lit up and shining already. But the one thing that makes Christmas in the tropics extra special is the prospect of seeing snow in Singapore (even if it’s artificial foam snow). This holiday season, put a smile on your kiddo’s face by taking them to experience snow in Singapore. 1. Snowfall At Gardens By The Bay: Carnival games & festive market
Every year, we look forward to Gardens by the Bay’s Christmas Wonderland, where the kids can experience snow in Singapore. While it isn’t real snow (it’s foam), kids will still have a blast. Plus, there are always plenty of photo-taking opportunities at larger-than-life light installations, festive performances, carnival games and a festive market. 2. Real Snow at Snow City Singapore: Ice slide & bumper cars
Snow City’s ever-popular snowfall and blizzard experiences are one of the few places offering real snow in Singapore! Book a two-hour play session to play with snowballs, see ice sculptures, ride snow tubes and have plenty of winter fun. Glide down a new 120-metre-long giant Ice Glacier Luge, and try Singapore’s only bumper car arena on ice! Plus, step into a mesmerising IG-worthy 30-metre gallery with interactive displays.

3. Snow at Orchard Road: Nightly snowfall shows (FREE!)
Orchard Road’s Christmas Light-Up is a highly anticipated Christmas event every year. In addition to exciting carnival games, fun rides, buskers and a Christmas market, you can also look forward to nightly snowfall shows. 4. Snow At VivoCity Singapore: 15-metre Christmas tree (FREE!)
Save the date for a fun-filled Christmas at Hasbro’s Game Carnival at VivoCity! Experience nine game stations, each featuring a Hasbro brand from The Game of Life to CONNECT 4, My Little Pony and more. Plus, kids can make My Little Pony friendship bracelets or embark on a Cluedo-inspired puzzle trail with photo opportunities. Stay until the evening to ring in Christmas with daily snow display sessions (except Mondays) against the 15-metre Christmas tree!

5. Snow at Changi Festive Village: Hello Kitty-themed festivities (FREE!)
Changi Festive Village returns with a sleigh-load of Christmas-themed activities. This year, you can look forward to a whimsical wonderland to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Hello Kitty. Have a blast with a plethora of carnival games and rides and shop cute Sanrio merchandise. There will also be a Cosmic HydroPark that guarantees a splash-tacular time for the whole family! 6. Snow at Marina Square: ‘Snowy Fun’ with Peppa Pig (FREE!)
Join Peppa Pig and her family for plenty of ‘Snowy Fun’ this Christmas! Kids will love the Peppa Pig-themed skating rink and an opportunity to meet Peppa and George for a photo opportunity. Look out for festive backdrops and photo spots and a wide range of Peppa Pig merchandise that will make great Christmas gifts for the kids. Experience a fun, family day out at Sentosa’s newest experience “A Big, Big World”. Head to Trifecta to experience the festive magic this Christmas. For one day only, Trifecta and Club Med invite you a winter wonderland at ‘Ski in the City’, where kids can try skiing or snowboarding. Mums and dads can check out the mini Christmas market and enjoy winter treats like hot chocolate, mulled wine, a charcuterie bar and more. 9. Snow at Universal Studios Singapore: Festive performances
Every year, Universal Studios Singapore transforms into a festive wonderland. This year, experience the magic of Wicked. Speak with the Wizard himself and interact with gorgeous sets inspired by the film. Catch a spectacular projection-mapping show on the castle to step into the worlds of your favourite DreamWorks Animation films. 10. Snow At Capitol Singapore: Christmas market & performances (FREE!)
Capitol Singapore’s annual Christmas event is back! This year, look forward to a fabulous Christmas market, a Singing Tree by the Voices of Singapore, roving bands and more. The highlight is the daily ‘snowfall’ shows at the Capitol Singapore’s Outdoor Plaza, where picturesque ‘snow’ will fall against the backdrop of the Capitol Theatre and the Singing Tree!

11. Snow At CHANEL: Snowy forest & winter wonderland (FREE!)
Step into The Magical House of CHANEL at Marina Bay Sands, where you’ll get to walk through an immersive snowy forest experience. Take a peek into the festive surprises in store for you this Christmas by CHANEL including exclusive fragrances, makeup products and skincare products. Entry to this winter wonderland is free, but limited slots are available. So, register in advance to avoid the long queue!

Snowfall at Jewel Changi Airport: Enchanting Light & Sound show (FREE!)
Jewel Changi Airport is known for its nightly light and sound shows, and this Christmas, there’s more for everyone to enjoy! On top of a special Christmas Light & Music Showcase, there are nightly snowfall experiences to look forward to–with additional sessions over the weekends from Fridays to Sundays. Over at the Shiseido Forest Valley, there’s the Polo Ralph Lauren Jewel Holiday Tree which adds a cosy cabin vibe to the whole atmosphere.

Foam Snow At KINEX: Daily snow play sessions
There were plenty of Christmas-themed activities to ring in the festive season at KINEX last Christmas. Kids enjoyed ROBOCAR POLI mall shows, roving Santa and Snowman and daily snow play sessions, while grown-ups delighted in Christmas markets and fairs. Foam Snow At The Star Vista: Giant Christmas tree (FREE!)
Every year, The Star Vista hosts an annual ‘snowfall’ show featuring a giant Christmas tree and various photo-ops around the mall! Details for this year’s festivities have yet to be released, but we’re pretty sure this will be another spectacle that you don’t want to miss. So, check back again later for more info.

Foam Snow At Causeway Point & Waterway Point: Synthetic ice-skating rink
Heartlanders, rejoice! You don’t have to head downtown to experience snow in Singapore. Last year, Causeway Point and Waterway Point transformed into the ultimate Christmas destination for the whole family! From Friday to Sunday, there were hourly snow shows and a stunning 5-metre Christmas tree! Kids also enjoyed plenty of activities including a synthetic ‘ice-skating’ rink (get 30-minutes of ‘ice skate’ time for $10)! Deets for this year have not yet been released, so check back again later.
