Trick or Treat? Halloween is getting spookily close, so you’ll be wanting to know where to take the kids for some ghoulsome fun.
We have rounded up all the best ghostly events happening in town to get kiddos into the Halloween festive spirit – from Spooky Seas and sharky adventures at S.E.A Aquarium to free Halloween playgroups, free neighbourhood trick or treating, free spooktastic art and craft sessions, and more!

If your kids are fans of Elmo and friends – head on down to the all-new, original show at Universal Studios Singapore for some Trick or Treat fun with favourite Sesame Street friends Elmo, Cookie Monster, Big Bird and more. Look out for Sesame Street’s Count von Count – who has an insatiable thirst for numbers. The 20 minute show will be taking place at Pantages Hollywood Theater.

Over at S.E.A. Aquarium, families and kids can expect fun Halloween festivities while learning a thing or two about conservation in Spooky Seas. Kids can get 50% off admission* to the aquarium for the entire month of October to enjoy the activities. Sea Witch and Captain Spooks will be holding storytelling sessions to dispel common misconceptions about underwater creatures: Do sharks attack humans swimming in the ocean? Find this out and more at the Sea Witch show weekdays (12.30pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4.30pm) or weekends (12.30pm, 2.30pm, 4.30pm). At Spooky Seas, even the divers will be in on the Halloween action, wearing Halloween costumes and teaching all about ocean plastic pollution. The show is held on weekends at the Open Ocean Habitat, home to over 40,000 marine animals representing 120 species.

Halloween Playgroup at AIS

What: Australian International School is putting on a free Halloween-themed Playgroup for your little monsters (from baby – 5 years old)! Get your kids dressed up – witches, ghouls and pumpkins all welcome. The Polliwogs Courageous Kids Challenge 2 – Halloween Spooktacular

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore

If you’ve been waiting with bated breath for this one, you’ll be spooked to know that Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Singapore is back for the 7th installment. With 500 scare actors from 15 countries spread over five haunted houses, two scare zones, two live shows and an all new live-action zombie laser tag experience – USS is all set to up its game for this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. This one is pretty scary so it’s best for older teens (minimum age 13 years).

Woodlands Trick or Treat
Date: 31 October from 530pm-8pm (or until the treats run out!)
Every year on actual Halloween, expect a huge Trick or Treat gathering in the neighbourhood of Woodlands Woodgrove! Mamas and kiddos can experience a traditional Halloween fest amongst thousands of families of all ages dressed up and ready to make this Halloween the best yet! This event is privately funded by the generous families living in the Woodgrove estate, so if you would like to show your appreciation mama, look out for homes marked with donation signs to support their charity cause or please consider donating candy to Any House as a thank you. All cash donations will pay for the needed security requirements and the following year’s Trick or Treat.
Halloween Eve of Fun with The Party Elves

Hot from the success of their Easter Morning Picnic, The Party Elves are teaming up with Tree Lizard once again to bring you a Halloween Eve of Fun for your little monsters. ACM After Dark: Horror Mash Up

Asian Civilisations Museum has an annual Halloween event encompassing performances and activities inspired by the objects from the galleries. From listening to spooktastic tales, to trying on some dress up and making your own spooky souvenir to take home! Activities run from 7pm to 11pm while the museum opens till 12 midnight. Halloween Family Night out at KidZania Singapore

At KidZania’s Halloween Family Night Out, kids and adults can come dressed up in their best Halloween gear (there will be prizes for the best dressed). There will be Halloween activities “Vampi the Vampire’s Candy Forest Hunt”, and Into The Volcano immersive storytelling experiences. Kids will even be able to knock on spooky doors to “Trick or Treat” and search for the buried treasures of the Magic Mummy.
