2. SYF60 Festival Concert: Kids’ concert in Singapore

At the SYF60 Festival Concert, you can look forward to a 75-minute multidisciplinary performance by over 250 talented student performers. 3. Journey to the West: Mandarin kids’ theatre show

Keen to give the kids a learning boost? Take them to this Mandarin kids’ theatre show that depicts the story of Zhu Ba Jie’s wedding proposal. Follow the story of Marshal Tian Peng, who was reborn into a pig’s body and had to wait a long time for a scripture seeker to take him as a disciple. Wanting to settle into a mortal life, he sets up a challenge to choose a bride from the mountain and disguises himself as a handsome young man.

The legendary tale of the Monkey King remains as one of the most compelling stories in Chinese mythology. 7. The Wolf and The Scholar: Mandarin play

The Wolf and the Scholar is a Mandarin stage production that brings a classic Chinese fable to life. This story is set in a forest and follows Mr Dongguo, who saves a wolf from hunters, only to face danger when the wolf turns against him. Look forward to humour, lively characters and music in this interactive production that explores core themes including kindness, gratitude, fairness, wisdom and moral responsibility.

8. Wheels on the Bus: Kids’ musical show

This one’s for the little ones! ‘Wheels on the Bus – The Musical’ is a kids’ musical filled with everything kids will love plus a chance for them to learn something new.
