This comical yet moving pop musical shares a story about a girl named Jane who struggles to navigate the stress of being a teenager. From being bullied in school to being scolded at home, this musical shines a light on mental health and the importance of self-love amidst the challenges of growing up. The rating is General but this theatre show is probably best suited for older tweens and teens and above.

Taiwan’s Circus Gate performers bring Circus Park to Singapore – a free outdoor performance that invites you and your kids to reimagine childhood games and rediscover the use of everyday objects.

10. Children’s Concert: The Composer and the Mouse

The Composer and the Mouse by Singapore Symphony Orchestra is a fun introduction to classical music combining film and organ and piano music, performed live by the Scott Brothers Duo. This kids’ theatre show tells the tale of a talented but unlucky composer who gets a little musical help from a friendly mouse. It’s a fun way to introduce kiddos to classical music. There will also be a pipe organ exhibition and demonstration that’s free to the public.

11. Candlelight Concerts

Take the kids to one of the many Candlelight Concerts for a magical experience of listening to music by candlelight in different locations around Singapore from SEA Aquarium to Chijmes! This Magical Movie Soundtracks concert at Chijmes by Pianist Gabriel Hoe will cover movie soundtracks such as A Whole New World (Aladdin), Beauty and the Beast (Beauty and the Beast) and Can You Feel The Love Tonight (The Lion King) plus other classics like Let it Go (Frozen) and How Far I’ll Go (Moana). 15. Wild Rice’s Kids’ Theatre: The Velveteen Rabbit

Wild Rice will be bringing Margery Williams’ classic children’s story, The Velveteen Rabbit to life in a brand new children’s theatre show.  Wild Rice’s new division A Little Wild, will bring original shows to kids aged 5 and up. The Singaporean adaptation of The Velveteen Rabbit is an endearing tale about a stuffed toy rabbit that yearns to become real and covers themes of friendship, self-acceptance and what it means to be truly alive. The production will be directed by Ian Loy, who is known for his Esplanade PLAYtime! children’s theatre series.
