Have you tried glamping in Singapore? Whether you want to go outdoor glamping on the East Coast, Sentosa, Lazarus Island or indoor glamping, here’s our guide to glamping in Singapore with fairy lights, plush mattresses and even air-con!

Glamping in Singapore is basically super posh camping! If you’re keen to take the kiddos camping but just can’t deal with setting your own tent up, or sleeping on a hard surface with no aircon, then you’ll want to try glamping! It combines the wonders of sleeping outside with the creature comforts of a chalet or hotel staycation. Whether it’s for a big birthday party, romantic getaway, or good old-fashioned family bonding, glamping in Singapore is a unique way to spend the night outdoors. Check out our roundup of all the best spots to take the kids glamping in Singapore!

What does it mean to go glamping?
Glamping is a word blend of “glamorous” and “camping” — taking all the fun of camping in a tent but elevating the experience. It’s basically a more glamorous form of camping that includes already set up tents, often proper beds or plush mattresses, electricity (and sometimes air-con!), cushions, picnic tables and at one glamping spot a BBQ or pizza offer!

How is glamping different to camping?
Glamping is definitely a more comfortable experience! But if you’re keen to teach the kids how to set up a tent, make your own food on a campfire, and rough it for the night – glamping won’t quite cut it. You’ll defo get a better night’s sleep glamping though! As with proper camping, when you go glamping in Singapore you’ll still need to apply for an NParks camping permit for free.

How much is glamping in Singapore?
Glamping in Singapore is not as cheap as camping but more affordable than a hotel stay. The cheapest outdoor glamping we found is from $210 per night for 2 pax, and the most expensive glamping at Singapore Zoo is a whopping $1,699 per tent!
