Glamping in Singapore combines the wonders of being outside and camping with the creature comforts of a hotel room. If camping conjures up roughing it, then maybe you’ll be keener on glamping – a more glamorous form of camping that includes already set up tents, often proper beds or plush mattresses, electricity (and sometimes air-con!), cushions, picnic tables and at one glamping spot even pizza!

For a big birthday party, romantic getaway, or good old-fashioned family bonding, glamping is a unique way to spend the night outdoors. We love that many of the Singapore glamping companies also offer picnic setups. Even if you decide you don’t want to camp out overnight, you can still host a unique and stylish party with these glamping providers (without having to worry about cleaning up afterwards!).

Glamping in Singapore is also relatively affordable, with many glamping tent rentals starting from around $150 per night. While most companies require you to apply for an NParks camping permit, it’s actually free, and can be done online or via AXS machine. Glamping is widely available in East Coast Park, with select companies offering additional sites in Pasir Ris Park, ORTO, Punggol, Sentosa and even at the Singapore Zoo!

2. Glamping Society

Singapore’s first glamping provider, Glamping Society offers glamping tent packages in both East Coast Park and Kranji. You can choose from four different types of glamping tents, and there are fun add-on options like pizza, fairy lights and balloons. Kranji glamping tents are air-conditioned (a must in Singers!), and glam tents are kitted out with beds, rugs and colourful cushions. We think the Glam Birthday Party Package (including pizzas, balloons, birthday cake and a float for up to 6 people), would be a big hit with kids. The Kranji glamping tents even come with electrical outlets. Glamping Society also offers glam picnic services so you can celebrate birthdays and special occasions with a picnic for up to eight people.
