Planning a kids’ birthday party? Here are our top picks of kids’ birthday party venues in Singapore, no matter your budget!

It’s the event that strikes dread into every mama’s heart (and wallet): your kids’ birthday party. They just seem to get more extravagant every year, and Pinterest certainly doesn’t help with its endless stream of picture-perfect celebrations. While we can’t help too much with the birthday party entertainment (you’ll need to hit up the pro party planners for that), we can talk all day about kids’ birthday party venues (often where an activity serves as the entertainment). We’ve rounded up some of our favourite kids’ birthday party venues in Singapore – from the beach, to trampoline parks, dance studios and animal petting zoos – to ensure you have plenty of kids’ birthday party inspo when you just don’t want to host the party at home (and deal with all the mess!)

More Birthday Party Ideas

Have an Art Party

If you’re feeling confident and have the space at home, there are heaps of DIY art activities you can do at home – from making slime, to mixing your own giant bubbles. Check out our guide to Singapore’s best arts & crafts stores for all the supplies you’ll need. And if you prefer to outsource the mess, just about all of Singapore’s art classes offer birthday party options.

The Beach

If your kiddos are a little older and strong enough swimmers, why not have a fun beach party? Kid-friendly restaurant Coastes* will let you bring your own simple decorations and cake at no extra cost if you’re dining at the restaurant anyway (though we’d suggest going at off-peak times to ensure plenty of space). If you want to take things up a notch, Tanjong Beach Club offers event planning (and they have a pool!).

And if your kiddo is up for it, why not center their party around a group beach clean-up?

*NB: You’ll need to check current government regulations to see if this is a viable option or not depending on when your child’s birthday is. As of September 2021, children under 12 (who have therefore not been vaccinated)  from different households can not eat out at a restaurant together.

Charter a Yacht

Yacht parties aren’t just for adults! We’ve seen kids going for this fun (albeit more pricey!) option for their birthdays. Check out our list of yacht companies you can hire for your next party.

A Picnic in the Park

If you’re going to keep things low-key – small group, food on a picnic blanket, classic birthday party games – you’re probably safe showing up to one of Singapore’s fabulous parks or playgrounds, such as East Coast Park or Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden for a picnic! However if you need more space, or want the peace of mind of having shelter in the case of inclement weather, consider booking out one of NParks’ numerous venues.

Host a Birthday Party at Home

If you’d rather have your kids’ birthday party at home (that means 5 extra guests so it’s a better option if you don’t want your child/yourself included in the headcount!) there are a number of fab party entertainers you can engage! They can now offer their services for birthday parties with safe management measures in place (do note they also account as one of the 5 unique household visitors).
