There’s no seating at this little hole-in-the-wall ice cream cafe, and their offerings often sell out before the end of the day. If you are eating ice cream for the ‘Gram, Sunday Folks delivers with their waffles and ice cream. Choose the ice cream to come parfait-style (from $8) or on waffles (from $10) and each ice cream flavour comes with its pre-selected housemade toppings like almond thins and fresh strawberries, sea salt chocolate honeycomb, and handmade gula melaka mochi alongside sauces like miso caramel and chocolate hazelnut. Don’t be fooled into thinking this stuff is soft-serve though. It does look it but this ice cream is actually freshly churned and has not undergone the second freezing step giving it that dreamy creamy soft finish. Just eat it fast!

This cafe in Pasir Ris is a hit for its ice cream, waffles, milkshakes, churros cakes and macarons – almost all of which are made in-house. At any single time, you’ll find 20 different ice creams on offer, but since the flavours are always rotated, you can often expect something new.
Swensen’s


Another ice cream shop cum restaurant that’s immensely popular, Swensen’s is a go-to for their creative sundaes and yummy ice cream flavours. Well known picks include the Sticky Chewy Chocolate Sundae, Golden Gate ice cream and waffle plate, and the Chocolate Fondue. Feeling hungry? Take on their Earthquake platter, which has eight scoops of ice cream in your flavours of choice plus eight toppings.
Tom’s Palette


Making one new ice cream flavour per month since 2005, Tom’s Palette is dedicated to making only the freshest ice cream in Singapore. Ditching the stabilisers in favour of traditional ingredients (eggs, milk, cream, and sugar) the ice cream here is handmade and super fresh.
