The question of where to meet Santa Claus in Singapore is always a hot topic, especially since it seems to change every year! The good news is, 2016 seems to offer more spots than ever to spot the man in red. And we’ve got heaps of other ways to get kiddos in the holiday spirit, too, with our roundup of kid-friendly festive events throughout December. Prepare to feel very jolly, mamas!

Ever wondered what it would be like to meet Scuba Santa? Mamas and bubbas, come and join Santa and the Elves as well as Pikachu at S.E.A. Aquarium for a unique underwater Christmas experience you’ll never forget: Merry Fishmas, mamas! Toys for Tots at the American Association
Join former ‘That Mama’ Crystal Wagar in teaching your kids the true spirit of Christmas by bringing an unwrapped toy for the U.S. Marines to distribute to children in need in Singapore and around Southeast Asia (they’ve distributed over 470 million toys to more than 188 million children since Toys for Tots began in 1947!). Kiddos can also snack on festive treats, participate in fun Christmas activities, and of course meet Santa Claus, too!

Come along to meet Santa Claus and get your picture with a professional photographer (free Polaroids will be provided, too). Kiddos can enjoy four different arts & crafts workshops, making their own snowman, Christmas ball, gingerbread man, and funny Christmas character with candies! There’ll also be a magician, face-painting, glitter tattoos, caricatures, and balloons sculpture, plus nice lucky draws. Perhaps best of all, FREE breakfast for the all family in French style!

Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay
While you’re at Christmas Wonderland at Gardens by the Bay for the classic Luminarie, Ice Palace skating rink, carnival games at The Fairground and even the Hi-5 Funtastic House, pay a visit to Santa’s Cottage and tell him all your heartfelt wishes!

Join in the Yuletide celebrations at ION! On top of shopping offers all month long (including pop-ups fave brands like The Better Toy Store), look forward to a serenading acapella choir, live harpist performances and of course Santa Meet-and-Greet sessions. Also make sure you visit the Tiffany Christmas Tree which stands at 20 metres tall with a walk-in interior that celebrates love – the backdrop lights up with a mini firework display when you hug, kiss or lovingly hold your loved one! An illuminated Christmas labyrinth at ION² also beckons with plenty of photo ops.

Bubblicious Christmas at Quayside Isle
Santa will appear every weekend at lunchtime to spread some holiday cheer (and hand out candycanes…or so we’ve heard). Throughout December kiddos can also enjoy a bubbly interactive snow globe (happening nightly from 7pm-9pm), ride a festive choo choo train and bouncy castle, or visit the Festive Christmas Market happening every weekend between 2-25 December.

What better place to meet Santa than at Snow City? Why not bring along a hat, scarf and boots to fully complete the winter wonderland look and get a truly festive photo, mama? Santa and his Elves will be on hand every weekend through 31 December, with a special appearance from Mrs. Claus the weekend of Christmas.

Santa is back at Tanglin Mall this Christmas! Each weekend at Santa’s Workshop, Kris Kringle will gather kiddos ’round for storytime, followed by a free DIY photo op (bring your own camera, mama). In the meantime you can also keep an eye out for Santa and friends like the Gingerbread Man and Toy Soldier roaming the mall for impromptu pictures. And of course look out for Tanglin Mall’s famous foam “avalanche” and “snow” blizzard happening nightly from 7:30pm (check website for exact schedule).

Head to this Heartlands mall for nightly snow and bubbles shows, along with musical interludes from holiday characters like Santa, the Gingerbread Man and The Jiggly Christmas Tree! Also come fore free rides on the reindeer sleigh train and other attractions at the festive carnival!

The Nutcracker at Singapore Dance Theatrer
Let little ones marvel at the magical dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara’s beautiful Christmas tree, the Waltz of the Snowflakes and more in this timeless Christmas ballet. Singapore Dance Theatre’s interpretation features a gorgeous set and costumes by local designer Aaron Yap, reimagined in the setting of turn-of-the-century, pre-WWI Shanghai.

Fun in the Falling Snow at Parkway Parade
Don’t worry East Coasters, there’s plenty of snow for you, too! Get your cameras ready for a nightly frolic in the snow starting from 30 November. Look out for plenty of other holiday promotions, gift-wrapping stations, and even a yummy Moomin Snack Bar throughout the festive season.

We already know the Science Centre has days upon days of ways to keep children occupied over the endles school holidays, but they’re truly taking things up a notch this holiday season with the “Christmas Science Show”, Elves and the Secret Sleigh. Gingerbread House Decorating Workshops at Tangs
TANGS will be doing all sorts of cool holiday workshops for mamas and papas, but we’ve particularly got our eye on the various Gingerbread Decorating workshops for kiddos in mid-December.
