NDP 2026 at the National Stadium

The National Day Parade will take place at the National Stadium in 2026, marking 50 years since the first NDP was held at the old stadium, and 10 years since its last parade at the current stadium! We’re excited for this as more spectators can now experience the celebrations first-hand, with the stadium’s capacity of 42,000 seats (compared to the Padang’s 27,000 spectator capacity).
While NDP crowd-favourites such as the Red Lions parachute demo, the mobile column and aerial display are not included into this year’s event due to safety reasons, you can still look forward to the State Flag Flypast, NDP fireworks displays, Presidential Gun Salute, a spectacular show segment and more. This year, the Presidential Gun Salute will take place at Kallang Basin for the first time!
What’s extra special this year is that, for the first time, the National Day Parade will feature an indoor drone show with over 300 drones, aerial performers and special effects, easily making it one of the biggest highlights of this year’s event.
In the lead-up to the parade, the NDP organisers will also run an exciting nationwide treasure hunt called the “Majulah Hunt” in partnership with Accenture. You can join in the fun through a web app. More details will be released at a later date. Full details of the National Day Parade and ticket balloting are still under wraps, so stay tuned!
