Christmas is one of our faves for family bonding time and our little red dot is pulling out all the stops to give you and your loved ones plenty of opportunities to celebrate together and partake in festive cheer. We’ve rounded up the top spots for family Christmas activities where the kiddos can meet Santa, dance under faux snow flurries, strap on a pair of skates, watch yuletide performances and belt out Christmas carols to your heart’s content!
A Magical Christmas @ The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
Gorgeous Marina Bay Sands is the perfect setting to capture precious moments with Santa and your little ones – just as long as you can spot him, that is! Santa and his friends will be roaming around the mall spreading festive cheer, plus other activities like live music performances and photo taking sessions at Santa’s Village.

Merry Fishmas @ S.E.A. Aquarium
Our amazing aquarium is back with its popular Merry Fishmas Christmas event, offering a unique take on the holiday with a “diving Santa” and ’12 Days of Fishmas’ underwater activity trail where kiddos uncover clues to lead them to a special gift from Santa! While you’re here, join in on carol singing in the Ocean Dome!

Adventure to the Arctic Circle @ Snow City
Singapore’s first indoor snow centre is promising an arctic chill this Christmas during its festive event line up, including a meet and greet with Snow City’s mascots, The Life of the Inuit storytelling session, carolling and much more! Of course, there’ll also be a faux blizzard bonanza – we wouldn’t expect anyhing less!

Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay
Get caught up in the whole festive shebang at Gardens by the Bay – meet Santa, enjoy Christmas carols, go ice skating, play carnival games, ride on a carousel and hop on their charming Christmas train! Did we mention there will also be faux snow flurries for the kiddos to delight in at their nightly Blizzard Time? Santa’s All Star Christmas at Universal Studios Singapore
Universal Studios is always a fun day out and now with it decked out in a Victorian Christmas theme and featuring special Christmas shows, you’re sure to have a jolly time with the kiddos! Get a chance to meet Scrooge, his neighbours and Christmas carollers in ‘A Scrooge Christmas Splendour’ at Sting Alley.
Also showing will be the popular ‘Sesame Street Saves Christmas’ show at Pantages Theatre. To top it all off, there’ll be festive snow and fireworks for all to enjoy!

If you’re looking to replicate a white Christmas for your little ones, then Tanglin Mall’s Snowtime is the place to be for a walk through a make-believe snowy wonderland! Complete carol singing and kids craft workshops (along with a roaming Santa and gingerbread men available for photos), Tanglin Mall is a hard act to beat this Christmas on Orchard!

SpongeBob Playland @ City Square Mall
SpongeBob fans won’t want to miss this first ever outdoor SpongeBob-themed festive playland! City Square will be transformed into a huge underwater world where kiddos will get to meet Christmas SpongeBob and all his mates! There’ll be activity centres, inflatable slides, a ball pit and special ‘snow time’ play nightly at 8 and 9pm!

Magic is unfolding at the School of the Arts (SOTA) where the most popular UK touring Christmas production since 2012, Dear Santa, promises to be an unforgettable festive treat for the fam! With Christmas Eve drawing closer, Santa and his elves need your help to find the perfect present for a little girl named Sarah. The show is recommended for bubs aged 2 to 7. Linger around after the show for a chance to meet Santa and the cast!

Christmas Carols @ Cluny Court
Cluny Court’s collection of boutique shops are getting into the holiday spirit with festive promotions, but the family draw here are their Christmas carols! Join in on the melodic fun with school choirs from Dulwich College, Tanglin Trust School and DeVita Christi Youth Choir as they belt out Christmas classics in support of the Singapore Cancer Society. NB: Santa Claus was at Cluny for photos but his last day was 5 December.

Christmas Cheers @ Sentosa
Head over to Sentosa to support various local bands – such as Brass Nation, Punggol Jazz and Ukelele Groove – playing groovy festive music to get you in the holiday spirit. While there, order up some grilled delights at Grill N’ Chill so you can really kick back and enjoy the music!

A Magical Christmas Dream Party @ AMK Hub
If you’re looking for photo ops for your little ones with festive friends while you shop, look no further than AMK Hub where characters such as Jolly Santa, Galloping Reindeer, Happy Snowman, Giant Gingerbread Man and more will be making their rounds in the mall for you to snap away, mama. Also, be sure to let your little ones stomp around in the magical Snowy Bubble show in between shops!

The Christmas Harp Concert
Belt out your favourite carols on Christmas day with your bubs at this harp concert! The music has been thoughtfully chosen to appeal to both babies and adults and will be performed by professional musicians ranging from harpists and sopranos, to trumpeters and string trios. The concert hall is also specifically designed so that children can just be themselves, roam around and enjoy the music!
