il Giardino: Garden-inspired Italian dining

Il Giardino is the hot new restaurant at the Botanic Gardens, taking over Level 2 of The Garage. Here, you’ll find garden-inspired Italian cuisine, featuring shareable plates that showcase fresh produce, herbs, and botanical influences. The Hand-Cut Pressed Potatoes were deliciously crispy with a strong roast garlic flavour, instantly a hit with both kids and adults. We also tried the Slow-Cooked Venetian Octopus, paired with ginger flower and gremolata. It was incredibly fresh and tender, easily one of our faves! For dessert, we loved the Affogato with Chocolate Shell, which resembled a quaint little terrarium. We recommend pouring the espresso over the chocolate sphere to let the gelato soak up all that coffee magic!
