2. Isuramuya

Having been around since 1981, Kotobuki sets the bar for authentic, fresh Japanese food in Singapore, with yummy bento boxes and noodles in addition to sushi and sashimi. They’re currently offering an additional 10% off regular menu items for delivery and self-pickup. Islandwide delivery is free for orders over $80, or a flat-fee of $8 for orders below $80.

4. Maetomo Restaurant & Bar
Be transported to Hokkaido with Maetomo’s many options native to the Japanese island, from fresh sashimi to hairy crab and summer truffles on rice! Perched on the rooftop of Funan, Noka has a focus on fresh local produce and ethically sourced ingredients from Japan and Southeast Asia. They’re available for islandwide delivery via the e-store, and subject to radial proximity on Grabfood and Deliveroo.

6. Rakuichi
This Japanese spot on Dempsey is a Sassy Mama fave! Their colorful, inventive maki rolls (like the Rakuichi — soft shell crab wrapped in avocado and raw fish) are some of our faves, and they’ve got delicious grilled meat skewers, too if you feel like something on the heavier side. Think ‘sushi in Singapore‘ and Sakae Sushi will probably come to mind. The award-winning conveyor belt sushi restaurant group is probably what started our love for Japanese food here in SG! 8. SENS Sushi

9. Sun with Moon
We love the dinner and lunch sets at this Orchard Road mainstay, along with their special sushi rolls. Really you’re just spoilt for choice — there are six kinds of salmon sushi preparations, for instance. Available for direct orders (they’ve even got takeaway Sake) and via Food Panda.

10. Sushiro Sushi
Sushiro may be Japan’s #1 conveyor belt sushi chain but it has now pivoted to fresh and value-for-money sushi platters available for islandwide delivery (through GrabFood) and takeaway. Platters featuring the likes of salmon belly, shrimp, grilled eel and more are available from only $11.10, with customisable sushi platters available for anywhere from 12-32 pieces per platter.
