Hei Sushi is the world’s first halal-certified sushi belt restaurant. As an arm of the Sakae Sushi group, they bring quality sushi and Japanese dishes in a casual dining concept for the whole family. Their party platters are great for celebrations at home!
For no-frills halal Japanese fare, Isuramuya at JCube will satiate your sushi, don or ramen cravings. They’re available on Foodpanda for delivery in the West, or you can choose to takeaway and browse the mini on-site marketplace to grab some of your favourite Japanese food products to take home.

Having been around since 1981, Kotobuki sets the bar for authentic, fresh Japanese food in Singapore, with yummy bento boxes and noodles in addition to sushi and sashimi. They’re currently offering an additional 10% off regular menu items for delivery and self-pickup. Islandwide delivery is free for orders over $80, or a flat-fee of $8 for orders below $80.
Be transported to Hokkaido with Maetomo’s many options native to the Japanese island, from fresh sashimi to hairy crab and summer truffles on rice! The quality selections are well worth the splurge if you’re feeling a little celebratory. Make sure you check out their Facebook page for special off-menu bento sets. Perched on the rooftop of Funan, Noka has a focus on fresh local produce and ethically sourced ingredients from Japan and Southeast Asia. They’re available for islandwide delivery via the e-store, and subject to radial proximity on Grabfood and Deliveroo.

This Japanese spot on Dempsey is a Sassy Mama fave! Their colorful, inventive maki rolls (like the Rakuichi — soft shell crab wrapped in avocado and raw fish) are some of our faves, and they’ve got delicious grilled meat skewers, too if you feel like something on the heavier side. Find them on Deliveroo, GrabFood or walk in for takeaways.

Think ‘sushi in Singapore‘ and Sakae Sushi will probably come to mind. The award-winning conveyor belt sushi restaurant group is probably what started our love for Japanese food here in SG! Their value-for-money sushi options and dishes are available on GrabFood and on their e-store. Free delivery for orders $86 and above.
SushiDeliverySG delivers super-fresh airflown fish prepared at one of seven kitchens around the island. Orders over $60 are free; otherwise there is a $5.90 delivery charge. Sushi is also delivered within 45 minutes.
