Realistically, decorations for kids’ Halloween parties shouldn’t get too spooky in case they get too terrified to have fun. By focusing more on the prominent Halloween characteristics, you can actually make your party decor look more kid-friendly! If you’d like to try your hand at DIY, here are some ideas from the folks at The Party Elves:
1) Lantern or Balloon Pumpkins
Really easy and quick to do – and look best in large numbers! Cover a wall with the lanterns half opened, or have helium balloons with faces on, floating in small spaces at eye level.
2) Bat Wall
Easy as pie, but this has amazing impact and works well for a photo wall that doesn’t spook young trick-or-treaters. Cut out some black felt or paper into bat shapes and stick them onto the wall!
The Party Elves can also sort out Halloween entertainment at your next party, mama! Check them out on Facebook to view awesome pics from some of their most recent parties and make sure to drop them a line if you’d like to make a booking.
“Rise, O Vampire, break the chains and emerge from thy coffin, for it is the bloodcurdling, sinister season of the year again…”

They’re also the only costume boutique in Singapore to offer “special effects makeup” (wigs, blood and fangs really make the costume!), and can also supply you with decorations like spiderwebs, balloons and banners. They’ve even got hard-to-find “ani-motion” Halloween masks With a constant stream of new costumes based on the latest movies and trends, it’s no wonder they have a rep for winning lots of costume contests!

Candy Empire is always a go-to for good quality candy from all around the world that you may not get anywhere else! They recently opened in Suntec City, adding to the ever-growing list of outlets available in town.
Sure you could snag some sweets at any old grocery or convenience store, but if you really want to wow trick-or-treaters, head to international candy emporium Sophisca, which has a big shop at Marina Square along with another outpost at Changi Airport. Not only do they offer a wide range of yummy sweets – including candied fruits, bonbons, chocolates and more – but their products are all designed and manufactured in-house at their headquarters in Taiwan, so you can rest easy about safe ingredients (not a small thing when it comes to Halloween candy!). YUM!
