You’re invited to our Last Mama Meet Up Before Summer Holidays: A Garden Party at EtonHouse Thomson!

Summer is right around the corner (in Singapore weather that’s an equal mix of hot hot heat and the occasional storm!) and we’re back with our last Mama Meet Up before summer break, happening at the absolutely gorgeous EtonHouse Thomson on Wednesday, 14 June! With storytelling, an oh-so-cute dance class, and a chance to explore the stunning campus, we’re truly going out for the summer with a bang, mama!

Hosted at one of Singapore’s most beautiful and lush international school settings, you and your little ones will be in for a treat with lots of fun, food and games! EtonHouse Thomson is a boutique primary school housed in an exclusive, colonial-style building, with intriguing learning spaces including the Sensory Laneway, The Canopy and the Pebble Garden outdoors, and the Exploratorium, Tinkering Studio, Light Studio, and Construction Studio indoors. Other facilities include a multi-purpose Sport Court, multi-function Hall, Performing Arts Studio, Visual Arts Studio and Swimming Pool. WOW!

Here’s the rundown for the event:

9:30am – 9:45am      Registration at EtonHouse Thomson
9:45am – 10.30am    Activities by Evolve Arts and Stepping Out Studios (more on those below!)
10:30am – 11am         Mingle and picnic with snacks provided by Artisan Boulangerie Co.
11am onwards           Campus tour (optional). For parents wishing to tour the campus after the event, sign up at the registration desk.

Gather the kiddos to join in an interactive storytelling session with Evolve Arts with a Garden Party theme! Little ones will get to choose the story and develop it into drama with games and songs led by the actors, musicians and dancers – all trained teachers from Evolve Arts, which offers classes for children aged from as little as 6 months! Classes range from Fabulous Mums and Toddler Classes to Creative Drama, Ballet, Dance, Music and Movement, where little ones can develop their imagination, creativity and confidence through literature, activities and games. They do bespoke birthday parties, too!

Stepping Out Studios will be running a Melody Bear dance workshop for younger children at the event! Melody Bear is the lovable teddy at the heart of the Melody Movement Early Learning dance syllabus, a unique dance syllabus targeted at 2-to-4 year-olds introduced to Singapore by Stepping Out Studios in 2014. Using natural body actions like running, walking and skipping to introduce little ones to dance movement, it also explores development in motor skills like galloping and hopping. Get your little ones to bring their own teddy for the workshop, mama! Stepping Out Studios will also be offering an exclusive 20% off Melody Bear term fees during the event for anyone who wishes to sign up for regular classes.

And of course, nobody goes hungry at a Sassy Mama Meet Up! Thanks to the folks at contemporary neighbourhood café and bistro Artisan Boulangerie Co., you and your littlies will enjoy a selection of FREE freshly prepared mini salads, sandwiches and quiches. Led by award-winning artisan baker Eran Mayer, ABC’s products are produced fresh each day using artisanal techniques with the highest quality ingredients sourced from the best farms worldwide. They’re currently operating 8 outlets and catering services throughout Singapore!
