Free NDP fireworks viewing spots at the National Stadium
The National Day Parade will be held at the National Stadium at The Kallang (former Singapore Sports Hub) in 2026, promising a spectacular celebration! Details of the fireworks display have yet to be released, so stay tuned for more info. In the meantime, we’ve mapped out some fab free spots to view the NDP fireworks from the National Stadium!
1. Stadium Riverside Walk

Also cheekily known as “Cat 100” for concerts in Singapore held at the National Stadium, the Stadium Riverside Walk is located right outside the stadium and its adjacent Kallang Wave Mall. What’s great about this area is that you’ll not only get a “Cat 1” view of the NDP fireworks, but also be able to catch a glimpse of the fireworks over Marina Bay in the distance!
Where: Stadium Riverside Walk outside The Kallang
Access via: It’s a 5 – 10-minute walk from Stadium MRT Station Exit A.
2. The Lawn Bowl @ The Kallang

Here’s a lesser-known fireworks viewing spot right near the vicinity of The Kallang. Located right outside the Indoor Stadium, the Lawn Bowl is an open space away from the main crowds at the National Stadium. We recommend coming over early, so pack a small picnic for the evening!
Where: Lawn Bowl outside Singapore Indoor Stadium
Access via: Take an 11-minute walk from Stadium MRT Station Exit A, or a 13-minute walk from Mountbatten MRT Station.
3. Tanjong Rhu Promenade

Tanjong Rhu Promenade gives you the best of both worlds for NDP fireworks views! Not only can you see the National Stadium from here, but it also overlooks the Marina Bay skyline. One of the best spots to see the fireworks is from the Tanjong Rhu Suspension Bridge–and there’s a park connector which takes you to the Bay East Garden, another great free spot for fireworks-viewing.
Where: Tanjong Rhu Promenade
Access via: Take a 3-minute walk from Tanjong Rhu MRT Station
4. Benjamin Sheares Bridge

Located between the Esplanade and Marina Bay areas and running adjacent to the Helix bridge, it’s no surprise that the Benjamin Sheares Bridge makes a great vantage point for fireworks in Singapore. It’s also the tallest bridge in Singapore, overlooking the Kallang Basin. You’ll get great views of the National Stadium from here, but note that it may not be the most suitable spot for a sit-down/picnic session as it’s a pedestrian walkway. For the best views, we recommend accessing the bridge from the Tanjong Rhu side. You can also park yourself below the bridge via Tanjong Rhu Road towards the Bay East Garden.
Where: Benjamin Sheares Bridge pedestrian walkway & underneath the bridge near 11 Rhu Cross, Singapore 437440
Access via: There are access staircases behind the Costa Rhu Condo and from the Gardens by the Bay East car park.

The National Day fireworks at Marina Bay will likely be back for the 2026 celebrations, pending official updates. If heading here is your annual ritual, then save these following spots for free views of the NDP fireworks at Marina Bay!
5. The Helix bridge

A popular pedestrian bridge that connects Marina Centre to Marina South, the Helix (a.k.a the Helix Bridge or Double Helix) is one of the best vantage spots to watch the Marina Bay fireworks in Singapore for free! This Insta-worthy bridge is beautifully lit up in the evenings, too, so it’s always worth a trip just for the ‘gram.
Where: Marina Bay, bridge linking Marina Bay and Marina Centre, Singapore 038981
Access via: Bayfront or Promenade MRT stations
6. Marina Reservoir

This reservoir is one of the most popular locations for brilliant views of fireworks display across the Bay. We highly suggest coming early to snag a good spot in advance. There’ll be plenty to do while you wait; pack snacks and kites and you’ll have a ball with the kids on the lovely windy green. Then, settle down to watch the fireworks light up the sky over the Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay and Marina Bay Sands.
Where: 8 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018951

9. Waterfront Promenade, Esplanade

A free view of the Marina Bay fireworks in Singapore and must-see views of Singapore’s skyline? This breezy spot is where it’s all at. There are restaurants all around the area, so come early for a bite with the kiddies before parking yourself on the steps for prime views of the fireworks display.

10. The Lawn @ Marina Bay

If there’s a number one stop to watch fireworks in Singapore then this is it. The Lawn @ Marina Bay may just be a patch of grass in the heart of the CBD, but it’s laid-back and has good views of the fireworks.
Where: 11 Marina Boulevard, Singapore 018940
Access via: Downtown MRT Station
11. Victoria Theatre, Empress Lawn

Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall is a beautiful venue in itself. Although it offers a partially blocked view of the fireworks, this venue is bound to see large crowds gather every year. Be sure to get there early to secure a good spot!
Where: 11 Empress Pl, #01-02, Singapore 179558
Access via: 3-minute walk from City Hall MRT and Raffles Place MRT
12. The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands rooftop

The Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade is undoubtedly a popular fireworks-viewing spot for fireworks. But not many might know that there’s a hidden spot within The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands that gives you a spectacular view of the fireworks display. Head up to the rooftop of the mall! Entry is free and it’s open to the public.
Where: The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
Access via: Bayfront MRT, then follow the directions to The Shoppes. Take the escalator to the rooftop from the Boucheron store.
13. The Singapore River

The Singapore River is a great spot to catch fireworks for free (as long as you can spot Marina Bay Sands)! We found a great viewing spot near Clarke Quay MRT station (exit E) where you can see the fireworks display from a distance. It’s a great fireworks viewing spot if you’re bringing the kids along, as you won’t have to battle the main crowds at the Marina Bay area.
Where: Singapore River, Clarke Quay
Access via: Clarke Quay MRT exit E
14. High Street Centre Carpark

You might think it’s strange to head to a carpark for fireworks, but if you want to avoid the usually crowded places, then this is the place to go! The 5th floor of the carpark overlooks the Singapore River with a gorgeous view of the city skyline and the Marina Bay area, which is where you’ll see fireworks!
Where: 1 North Bridge Road, Singapore 179094
Access via: 6-minute walk from Clarke Quay and City Hall MRT stations
15. Mount Faber Peak

Home to the Singapore cable car attraction, Mount Faber Peak is popular with families looking for a gorgeous hike or walk among the greenery. The fireworks are quite a distance from Mount Faber, but you might just be able to catch a glimpse of them!
Where: 109 Mount Faber Road, Singapore 099203
Access via: Harbourfront MRT and then take a 12-15 minute walk up
16. Marina Barrage

You won’t get a full view of the fireworks here, but we love the green space on the rooftop of Marina Barrage that overlooks the city skyline. You can see the Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands, and a glimpse of the Esplanade, plus get a peek of the fireworks. Pack a picnic and get comfy under the starry night!
Where: 8 Marina Gardens Drive, Singapore 018951

17. Marina South Pier

Located along Marina Coastal Drive, Marina South Pier is tucked further away from the prime location for the fireworks, but you’ll probably still be able to see the fireworks. Where: 31 Marina Coastal Drive, Singapore 018988
Access via: Marina South Pier MRT, Exit B
18. Marina Square Rooftop

Okay, you might not get the best views from this spot. But since it overlooks part of the Singapore cityscape, including Marina Bay Sands, you should be able to catch a glimpse of fireworks. Since it’s located on the rooftop of a popular mall downtown, it might get crowded. So, be sure to get there early to save the best spot.

Access via: top floor of the Marina Square Mall, 4-min walk from Esplanade MRT station via Exit C
19. Supertree Grove & The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay

We can’t think of a more dramatic backdrop for fireworks in Singapore compared to the dazzling Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay! You can spot the Marina Bay fireworks from here, though, it’ll likely draw large crowds and the view may be slightly obstructed by the trees and city skyline. You can also head to The Meadow nearby, where there’s a large open lawn, for a wider view of the fireworks.
