New Playgroups in River Valley & East Coast: Bee Kids Club
For more than two years, babies and toddlers were deprived of normal social interactions thanks to the need for social distancing. With this in mind, play club and daycare centre Bee Kids Club has created the perfect environment to get our ‘bunker babies’ to develop healthily. Both the River Valley and East Coast campuses of Bee Kids Club offer engaging and well-organised indoor and outdoor facilities! Outdoor play is the most effective for exploring, risk-taking, fine and gross motor development and the absorption of vast amounts of basic knowledge. Bee Kids Club River Valley has a very nice playground with a garden, dry and wet zone and a blind alley! Bee Kids Club in Joo Chiat has fields, a mini garden and farm with hens and roosters – all a part of their Playgroup programme. Bee Kids Club offers many interesting weekday and weekend classes, holiday camps, mini-workshops, art classes, cooking classes for children of all ages, a Playgroup for toddlers, and adult-accompanied programmes for babies. They also organise kids’ events and playdates.

Just Opened: Indoor Playground at McDonald’s Canberra Plaza

After almost two years since it first opened, the indoor playground at McDonald’s Canberra Plaza finally welcomes kids! This McDonald’s outlet opened in the thick of the pandemic back in December 2020, when there were still strict limitations on group sizes in indoor play areas – so we’re excited that kids can now play in the indoor playground while adults grab a snack (or a McCafé cuppa!). Plus, McDonald’s Canberra Plaza also hosts birthday parties, starting from just $12/pax.
