There are few things we love more about Singers than the ability to go swimming year round. And obviously the little ones are always up for a splash about. But if the idea of sandy bums and crowded community pools doesn’t get you psyched – or if you live somewhere without a pool – we’ve scoured the Lion City for some luxe alternatives.

We’ve rounded up our ultimate list of hotel and spa pools where mum and dad can kick back and relax while the munchkins run wild — just be prepared to spend money on cocktails or food, not that you’d have to twist our arm to want poolside drinks service! Capella Singapore
Escape from the city and head to Sentosa with the family for some relaxing fun in the sun; Capella Singapore truly feels like a private getaway that doesn’t require a passport! With 30 acres of beautiful lawns, a gorgeous beach on the South China Sea, and three swimming pools all set amongst a beautiful mix of colonial and modern architecture, you’d be excused for never wanting to leave!

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport
Despite its proximity to the airport, the Crowne Plaza’s swimming pool is quietly nestled amongst tall palm trees on the third floor. This quiet hideaway has relaxing and private corners that allows you to blissfully chill out with the family for the afternoon (or take a pre-flight dip if you’re so inclined!).

The Fullerton Bay Hotel
This rooftop pool boasts fab view of Singapore’s Marina Bay, and it is perfect for littlies who need space to splash, swim and play. While the rugrats run around, mum and dad can lie back and relax as pool butlers go around with light refreshments.

Mandarin Oriental
Luxuriate in the lush green surroundings of the Mandarin Oriental’s stunning 25-metre rooftop pool. Kids can practise swimming their laps while you top up your tan. Sounds ideal to us! Note that the pool is only open to hotel guests.

Naumi Hotel
This boutique hotel has a gorgeous infinity rooftop pool that is an ideal oasis if you’re looking to stay away from the city’s poolside hotspots. Although it’s not the biggest pool, it is a great spot for the whole family to grab a bite, enjoy stunning views, and cool off.

Pan Pacific Singapore
Not only is this beautiful outdoor swimming pool conveniently located in Marina Square, but it’s divided into two sections with differing depths so you can rest easy that munchkins can run riot without having to keep your eyes on them at all times. Plus, the pool has underwater speakers so you can lie back and catch some rays while chilled out tunes drift through the water.

PARKROYAL on Beach
Take a break from pounding the pavements in the relentless heat and bring the family down to the PARKROYAL Hotel on Beach Road. With two huge pools, Jacuzzis, refreshing poolside menu and gorgeous city views, this is a great spot to spend the weekend.

PARKROYAL on Pickering
This quirky eco-friendly hotel boasts a stunning and intimate infinity pool and colourful poolside cabanas in the shape of giant birdcages. Set amongst cutting-edge architecture, PARKROYAL on Pickering is one of the city’s most stylish spots to take a dip. Looking for some proper R&R? This hotel has two fab pools, but the Creek Pool is more geared towards kids and families, as it’s filled with inflatables, water guns and features a transparent wall. Parents can kick back while little ones occupy themselves with splashing fun.

W Sentosa
This huge swimming pool is full of fun for the whole family. The W offers floating beds, chairs, beach balls and even table tennis in the water! If you fancy taking a breather while the little ones tire themselves out, the gigantic daybeds are ideal for relaxing in the sun.

The Westin Singapore
Although The Westin exudes more of a corporate vibe, its fab infinity pool on the 35th floor boasts incredible views of the city and is a nice quiet spot to chill out with the family.
