The Keys Weekend Family Workshops
If your kiddos are keen on tech but you’re still figuring out how to keep them occupied on the weekends, these hands-on workshops give them a chance to test out a new class, and may even let you learn new skills side by side for a morning of parent-kiddo fun! Each Saturday morning, choose between the popular Video Game Design (which sold out when it debuted in May!); 3D Pokémon Go Design, where kids get to design their own Pokéballs and Pokémons using computer-aided design; and Medieval War Machines, where they’ll build their own trebuchet and explore physics and engineering.

Annie The Musical
One of the biggest Broadway musical hits ever, ANNIE is the uplifting rags-to-riches story of plucky young orphan’s journey from a hard-knock New York orphanage to the luxurious home of billionaire businessman Oliver Warbucks. It’s become one of the best-loved family musicals of all time; what little kid doesn’t love belting “The sun’ll come out…TOMORROW!” at the top of their lungs? The Singapore Bike Show 2016

Wagner Weekend in Library@Esplanade
Calling all opera lovers! Wagner Weekend is part of “The Flying Dutchman in the Community” outreach programme, leading up to the staging of The Flying Dutchman opera this October at the Victoria Theatre. Apart from the screening of Wagner operas and an exhibition of related books, Director Glen Goei will share his and his co-director Chong Tze Chien’s vision for the Singapore-made Flying Dutchman and his experience of directing his first opera, while members of the Richard Wagner Association (Singapore) will speak about the genesis of “The Flying Dutchman” and the influence of Wagner on popular culture.
