German European School Singapore

The German European School Singapore (GESS) is a multi-lingual, international school in Singapore, providing education to a diverse student body of 1,500 students from over 50 nationalities. As a certified IB world school with a distinct European flavour, it offers three IB programmes: the PYP, the MYP and the IB diploma and is a not-for-profit organisation governed by elected parents. With a rich and varied curriculum, well-renowned reputation and dedicated members of staff, students are nurtured into becoming balanced, responsible and informed world citizens. They even ensure excellence across language acquisition, with many of their students being bi- or even trilingual (Dutch, Danish, German, French, Spanish and Mandarin are all delivered within the curriculum, with more languages coming online all the time — they’ve even been ranked as an “Excellent German School Abroad” with their German section offering all official German school leaving certificates!).

GESS also opened a brand new, state-of-the-art campus in Upper Bukit Timah in 2018.
