Adventure HQ at HomeTeamNS Khatib

Adventure HQ at HomeTeamNS Khatib is the newest indoor playground in Singapore that’s actually geared for tweens, teens and adults too! Expect themed rock climbing walls, a ninja course, rope climbing structures and most excitingly the longest slide in Singapore!

Here’s what’s in store at Adventure HQ at HomeTeamNS Khatib

  • Singapore’s longest indoor slide at 14m long
  • Singapore’s first 165m-long indoor artificial caving
  • Singapore’s first-of-its-kind 15m Cloud Climb
  • Singapore’s biggest two-tiered, 16-obstacle indoor challenge rope course
  • Singapore’s first indoor Roll Glider at 233m long (opening 2021)

Adventure HQ at HomeTeamNS Khatib is huge! It’s actually open-air (but sheltered) so it gets hot and humid (dress in light sports gear). It’s 2,800 square metres big and four storeys high. Here are the highlights:

Singapore’s longest indoor slide: The main feature that will catch your eye has to be the long swirling metal slide tunnels with huge netted climbing structures.

The metal tunnel slides here are 14 metres long and 4.5 storeys high making it the longest indoor slide in town (longer than Changi Airport’s The Slide @T3!).  If you love the thrills, we recommend wearing clothes that won’t drag and slow you down. This mama wore yoga pants with stretchy elasticated material and did not experience a fast descent – maybe some mats to sit on to zoom down faster would be helpful!

Ninja Course: navigate obstacles and balance on beams (best for older, taller kids 12 yrs+): great for improving strength, endurance, coordination and agility.

Singapore’s first 165m-long indoor artificial cave: Modelled after real caves, the Fossil Labyrinth on the top floor is a 165m-long stretch of artificial caves that you have to navigate in pitch darkness. Look out for stalactites, stalagmites, and fossils. You’ll need to crawl here – not for anyone claustrophobic! Oddly it smells a little like caves with bat droppings here too.

Boulder + Rock Climbing: a range of walls with varying difficulty levels. With 8 climbing lanes, from Classic Top Rope or Automated Belaying climbing.

Urban Climb: 24 interactive climbing elements.

Sky Venture: 16 obstacles in Singapore’s biggest two-tiered indoor challenge ropes course set 15 metres above ground. This is set on the very top level of the playground. We didn’t experience it as we didn’t see anyone to help us navigate this but it look really fun. You’ll wear a safety harness to keep you safe!

Note: We did notice there was not so many staff around to help – the caves were not manned to instruct anyone on rules (which we understand include wearing helmets and guards) nor was there anyone to help with Sky Venture. There was a staff member helping the obstacle course, and with rock climbing to show you the ropes, literally – but you’ll need to clip your safety belay systems on yourself. If you need advice on any of the equipment – look for a staff member wearing the HomeTeamNS outfits to help.

T-Play Khatib at HometeamNS Khatib

There’s another new playground at HomeTeamNS Khatib and this one’s T-Play Khatib, best for younger kids. T-Play Khatib is the first Peranakan themed playground in town and sports spiral slides, kiddie police cars and fire trucks, a foam ball shooting arena, an interactive trampoline, and more!

T-Play Khatib is the only Peranakan-themed indoor playground in Singapore. We love how Singapore’s rich Peranakan culture is celebrated throughout T-Play Khatib through a mix of audio, visual, and sensory experiences.

T-Play Khatib for toddlers

Little ones will have a blast at the specially designed ninja course for toddlers. Climb up steps, navigate little obstacles, and find your way back down again. T-Play Khatib also features kiddie rides (there are a police car and a fire truck for little vehicle lovers). If your kids love transport, you could also check out the Transportation themed playground at HometeamNS Bukit Batok.

T-Play Khatib for preschoolers

We reckon young kids will love the climbing slide tower, foam ball shooting arena, and interactive trampoline at T-Play HometeamNS Khatib. The climbing structures are all netted throughout the multi-levels so kids can safely climb up, and find the long slides to come down again.

If your kids love zooming down slides, T-Play Khatib, has really long slides – race your friends down the four-lane slides (pictured above) and see who can go splat on the mat first! Or whizz down the colourful spiral slides – there are two to choose from.

T-Play HometeamNS Khatib indoor playgrounds are designed to engage kid’s brains, improve motion coordination, and give kids a good sense of direction.

Older kids will love harnessing their inner ninja to make their way up the climbing structures to get to the second spiral slide for a thrilling zoom down. Kids will have to figure out how to squeeze through tunnels, climb different structures, and balance on narrow paths to get across.
