Baking, Arts, Sports and Languages to Inspire Curiosity
The tagline at Kiddiwinkie Schoolhouse is “Learn Curiously, Live Creatively” and that’s backed up by the amazing facilities and Enrichment Programmes. Little ones will discover unique enrichment classes like ‘Artsy Fingers’, ‘Dancing Toes’, ‘FIITercise’, foreign languages including Japanese and Korean, and – unique to the preschool at Orchard – the Cook & Bake programme, which features an attractive kitchen specially designed for children!
A Creativity-inspired, Age-appropriate Curriculum
At Kiddiwinkie Schoolhouse the creativity-inspired curriculum fosters curiosity and play in an engaging learning environment that’s age-appropriate. For the little ones there’s a play-based approach to learning, while Kiddiwinkie Schoolhouse adopts the inquiry-based approach for preschoolers. Unique to the Orchard campus, children will be immersed in a creative learning environment, allowing them to become active and independent learners in an open process of acquiring knowledge and experience. It encompasses three interconnected components: Learn, Environment and Community. Engaging children across all age group, it makes for great opportunities to collaborate and learn through exploring, experiencing and reflecting. This creative learning environment also provides experiential and incidental learning opportunities outside of the traditional classroom setting, and supports children’s natural curiosity about the world.
A major plus for this preschool has to be its prime location along Scotts Road. Located conveniently next to the DFS Building and right opposite Far East Plaza, it’s a 5 minute walk away from the Orchard MRT station!
