Sassy Scoop: Introducing Blue House Nursery & International School – The Perfect Way for Littlies to Learn through Play

If there’s one thing that every Singapore mama has to do at some point it’s finding the perfect playgroup or preschool for their little one. Outdoor discovery areas are an important part of the Blue House approach and give kiddos the opportunity to learn through discovery and hands-on play. Located in a leafy Bukit Timah lane, children can really feel part of nature, and seeing horses from the windows is pretty cool too! Flooded with natural light, their homely-feeling, cosy classrooms are filled with interesting materials for youngsters to investigate. Classroom activities are kept fun and interactive (with regular musical and artistic visitors!), ensuring littlies are always trying something new.

Small family members are not forgotten either at Blue House and are welcomed into Blue House’s very special Infant and Toddler Atelier. A great way to include younger siblings into the school community, children aged 6 to 36 months can attend parent-accompanied scheduled classes, or attend drop-in sessions at the Atelier. Facilitated by experienced early childhood educators, little learners are guided through singing, dancing and multi-sensory play activities in a peaceful, safe environment.

With classes for children aged from 18 months to 6 years old, Blue House offers an enriching preschool programme from nursery to senior kindergarten, with options for 2, 3 or 5 half or full days per week available for mini learners. Children 18 months to 3 years are housed in their own Blue House Nursery Building, and children 3-6 years move on up to the Big Blue House.
