The Local People x National Heritage Board Arts Sprawl Night Market
Take the bubs out for a night of colouring on art murals (where they’ll actually be encouraged to draw on walls!), check out wall installations, listen to live storytelling sessions and music, catch a movie screening and more, all while surrounded by 50 food, art and retail vendors at the Arts Sprawl Night Market! Adventure Play & Risk Taking Workshop at Trehaus
Join co-founder of Pop-Up Adventure Play and prominent playworker from the UK, Suzanna Law, as she discusses adventure play in this workshop suited for parents and educators. Besides getting expert answers from Suzanna to your questions about supporting independence and experimentation in child-led play, participants will also be shown the renowned short documentary The Land, about the famous Welsh adventure playground.

Beerfest Asia 2016
With hundreds of beers (commercial, craft beers and ciders) lined up and a chance to meet vendors and brewery professionals, Beerfest Asia 2016 has boozy fun for you and your hubs or fellow beer-loving mamas. Kick back to live music or try delicious bites under the Singapore skyline (seriously, how awesome does that sound right now?!). With over 400 different beers and ciders at the festival, guests are invited to try as many as they can, so take advantage of the tasting portions of beer available from just $1 – $2! The Beerfest Comedy Club also returns with a line up of world-class stand-up comedy acts that’ll no doubt leave you in stitches.

Cheek by Jowl Fundraising Lunch
In order to send aid to the people of Sri Lanka (with the aim of developing a rural community development model to narrow the gap between urban and village life), Cheek by Jowl will be holding a Fundraising lunch, where Head Chef Rishi and his team will be volunteering their time and cooking up a Sri Lankan menu featuring favourite Short Eats (Sri-Lankan version of tapas) and four to five main dishes to share. All proceeds will go to the Foundation of Goodness, a non-profit NGO registered in both Sri Lanka and the USA.
