Downton Abbey: The Exhibition

Based on the beloved television show, Downton Abbey: The Exhibition will take you on a journey to see the characters and iconic house come to life! From Mrs. Patmore’s hectic kitchen and the gossip-fuelled servants’ quarters to the glamorous state rooms, you’ll get the chance to walk through the series’ most recognisable locations and get up-close to the show’s official costumes worn by Michelle Dockery, Hugh Bonneville, Dame Maggie Smith and more.

Celebrating Fathers @ Dad’s Day Out 2017

Celebrate Father’s Day with a cool, breezy evening picnic! Bring along and spread your picnic mats at One-North Park while you enjoy activities such as special tie DIYs, a photo booth and music performances and an outdoor movie screening under the stars. Make sure you look out for the signature Families for Life Mobile Café to get your complimentary snacks and drinks, mama!

Remittance Film Screening

Remittance is a realistic portrayal of the lives of low-wage migrant workers in Singapore starring a cast of real domestic workers-turned-actresses, many of whom are AIDHA alumnae! Remittance follows Marie, a woman from the Philippines, as she struggles with her daily life as a foreign domestic worker and tries to balance living for her family versus living for herself. The story explores the transformations Marie goes through as a woman dealing with conflicting obligations and aspirations.

June Holiday Workshops & Activities at UNIQLO Orchard Central

June Holiday festivities are still underway mama, and UNIQLO’s Global Flagship Store at Orchard Central is hosting a variety of fun-filled activities and workshops for the whole family – from paper marbling to a silk screen live station and even take-home iron-on patches to customise your clothes!

Pure Yoga Free Community Outdoor #YogaForAll event for Children & Adults

Celebrate International Day of Yoga with outdoor yoga classes for both you and your kiddos! There’s never been a better time to introduce children to the many benefits of yoga – little ones aged 5-10 can join the fun, dynamic, and interactive session at 5pm led by Pure Yoga’s team of experienced yoga teachers, which includes proper breathing exercises, yoga postures and games. Victoria Concert Hall presents Peter And The Wolf

Get up-close with Pipe Organ Models, learn how to make a Panpipe with just straws, find out more about the organ construction process, and be entertained by Resonance (The Sheng Ensemble) at the Atrium between performances of Prokofiev’s popular classic, Peter and the Wolf by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra!

When: Sunday, 18 June 2017, 2pm & 4pm. Pre-Concert activities will be held at 12:45pm and 3pm.

How much: Free! Make sure you come early to secure the best seats as seating in the concert hall is limited, mama! Doors open half an hour before the concert. This concert will last approximately 45 minutes and is suitable for ages 5 and up. No admission for infants-in-arms.
