Summer Hill – French neighbourhood bistro
Former head chef Anthony Yeoh of defunct French restaurant Cocotte has opened Summer Hill with Christopher Soh – a largely alfresco resto-cafe beneath the HDB block at Sunset Way. The menu is very short with a French-style roast chicken (hormone and antibiotic free) with gravy and sides ($23/45 for half/whole chicken) available daily, and changing dishes like roasted pork collar ($25) and ham and cheese toasted sandwiches ($17.50), quiches and baked goodies.
