You’re Invited: Aquariva’s Launch Event

We don’t know about you, but we’re constantly casting around for fashion inspo in Singapore. There’s something about the heat and the mama lifestyle that makes us feel permanently under-dressed and less-than-chic. Especially as our wardrobes are 90% mummy shorts and tank tops! And of course (moan, moan) when the shops are hawking their winter season looks, we’re still stuck in the searing heat. Sigh.

What’s a mama to do? Well, we were pretty thrilled to find out that two Singapore mamas have taken matters into their own hands and created a resort label, Aquariva, which is literally JUST about to drop and is filled with wearable, stylish pieces that you’ll want in your closet. We rifled through the racks to pick out our faves…

For us, the above outfit is what Aquariva is doing best — simple, cool looks that can be dressed down for the school run, or up for cocktails at Singapore’s newest hot speakeasy bar. The pants are breezy and the shirt is floaty… bliss!

We also are coveting this adorable nautical-stripe shorts and top ensemble – just perfect for a day out in Sentosa. And we promise, your bum will look just like this if you jump up in the air.

This flirty cover-up can totally be repurposed as a dress for Singapore’s laid-back look – we’d just pop it over a white slip dress to make it fractionally less beach, and more city!

Last but not least, we NEED this perfect kaftan to pop in our suitcase for our upcoming jaunt to Phuket. Sticky hands off kids, this one is strictly for mama!
