Get ready to see 18 life-sized dinosaurs roam Singapore Indoor Stadium

It may have been millions of years since dinosaurs ruled the planet, but now you and your dino-mad kiddos can experience the next best thing when the globally-acclaimed live production Walking with Dinosaurs – The Live Experience is playing in Singapore from 29 August – 5 September. We have definitely marked our calendars for this one, mamas, have you?

Based on the award-winning BBC television series of the same name, Walking With Dinosaurs is a one hour, forty minute live arena spectacular in which 18 life-size dinosaurs (created with state-of-the-art technology and cinematic realism) will walk and roar their way across Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The show has already captivated more than 9 million people of all ages (it’s perfect “for ages 3 to 93” and is decidedly not scary) in 250 cities around the world; audiences will get to see interactions between dinosaurs, learn how carnivorous dinos like the T-Rex and Velociraptor evolved to walk on two legs, and witness how herbivores like the Ankylosaurus and Brachiosaurus fended off their more agile predators!

Along the way you’ll get a lesson in geology and climate change, witnessing first hand the splitting of the earth’s continents and the transition from the arid desert of the Triassic period to the lush green prairies and forests of the later Jurassic period. Oceans form, volcanoes erupt, a forest catches fire, and finally, a massive comet strikes the earth and leads to the extinction of the dinosaurs. For anyone whose kids have ever asked, What happened to the dinosaurs?, you can now SHOW them in vivid detail.

In total, nine different species from across dinosaurs’ 200-million-year reign will be represented. The aforementioned Brachiosaurus is the biggest at 11 meters tall and 17 meters from nose to tail; it took a team of 50 – including engineers, fabricators, skin makers, artists, painters, and animatronic experts – a full year to build this astounding production.
