Singapore Beauty Week is the first ever local beauty festival that celebrates fine beauty indulgences at attractive prices.

Planning a mother-daughter bonding sesh (or mother-son bonding á la Jenna Lyons – we don’t judge!) for the school holidays, mama? Or maybe you want a pamper party all to yourself right before the crazy Christmas shopping ensues? Whatever the occasion, mark your calendar for Singapore Beauty Week, which kicks off this Thursday, 10 November to bring you the best beauty deals for 10 days only!

Inspired by Restaurant Week, which regularly takes Singapore by storm, Singapore Beauty Week gathers the best salons, beauty parlours and beauty therapy centres in one platform for beauty lovers to experience the latest treatments at discounted rates. Co-founders Bernadine Reddy and Caryn Tan-Lim first toyed with the idea while discussing the beauty scene in Singapore and realising that there are a lot of women who’ve never tried beauty treatments such as facials, IPL treatments and the like because they thought it cost too much. As a result, they decided to create the opportunity for all women to pamper themselves with high-quality yet affordable beauty treats.

Ranging from hair styling at JERIC Salon to 1-for-1 massages with So Spa by Sofitel, facials and even non-surgical face lifts, previously unheard of services or those that might have seemed out of reach are now easily accessible on the SBW website!

How it works

Simply log in and register (I logged in via Facebook and it took all of 2 seconds, seriously), book your preferred treatment and just turn up at your appointment, ready to be pampered! No online payment involved – just pay directly to the merchant when you’re there. I’m not kidding mama, it’s really that easy. To cancel, head to ‘My Bookings’ at the top of the page and just click away at the appointments you won’t be able to attend.

So if you’ve never tried eyebrow embroidery or lash extensions (you may never have to put falsies on ever again after visiting Browtisan or Flutters Lash Parlour), there’s never been a better time (or price) to book an appointment, stat! If you’ve got a girlfriend’s birthday coming up and still haven’t found a gift, book a spa party with AUUM The Honest Nail Spa and they’ll turn up at your doorstep to get your nails did in the comfort of your living room sofa (plus at a price of $199 for a party of 3 from the original $599, I personally wish it was Singapore Beauty Week, every week).
