My favourite Father’s Day Gift was a photo album made with a collage of pictures of me with our two kids since they were born. Now it’s a tradition to look through the album on Father’s Day and tell them stories from when they were babies. So many photos of them sleeping on my chest. We took a lot of naps back then!

– Adam, husband of Marisa (Album created with Chatbooks from the US)

I think my favourite Father’s Day gift was a surprise session at the Singapore Wake Park. Jess and the kids came out to watch me continuously fall off the board half way around the circuit, but I’m proud to say I made it all the way around on my last try. Other than that, a sleep in and a coffee in bed are always appreciated!

-Col, husband of Jessica

A gift that stands out for me for Father’s Day was a poem my 6-year-old wrote for me. He had obviously spent a lot of time composing it (with a little help from his mama I am sure – good team effort!), writing it out as well as illustrating it. Something homemade is always appreciated and this thoughtful gift, which we framed, always brings me a smile when I read it.

-David, husband of Beate

“The best gift I ever received for Father’s Day was a Nespresso machine; 5 years on I still use it every day! The next best thing was a massage (I recommend the signature massage at COMO Shambhala Urban Escape).”

-Kelvin, husband of Emilie

“For my first Father’s Day I was unfortunately not with my daughter Eve as she was spending time with our families in the US. I wasn’t sure if anything would be done for Father’s Day since we wouldn’t be together so I was surprised to wake up on Father’s Day morning to find a case of wine that was customized with a picture of Eve and myself for the wine label. We have enjoyed the bottles of wine but kept one aside to drink on her 21st birthday (or her 18th depending on where we live!).”

-Paul, husband of Maura

“My first Father’s Day came just a couple weeks after our baby was born so there wasn’t too much time to plan, but Kate surprised me with this onesie alluding to one of our favourite TV shows.”

-Jim, husband of Kate

My wife has started a wonderful tradition of taking a photo with the kids and framing it for me, accompanied by their hand and foot prints. I’m not sure how long we can continue to fit the feet into father’s day cards but it will be funny if they’re still trying in 10 years’ time.

-Alban, husband of Abi

“My favourite Father’s Day gift is what most of our Sundays look like: being together, making memories and seeing that our kids are happy.”

-Chris, husband of Carlijn

We’d like to wish all the Sassy Papas out there a very happy Father’s Day!
