NDP fever is here! Who doesn’t love fireworks? Here’s where to catch them for free
If you’ve caught some of the action at the NDP Rehearsals over the past couple of weeks, you were probably treated to a fireworks show already. But we heard they’re still reserving the biggest fireworks display yet for 9 August –National Day!
Unlike recent years, this year’s parade will take place at the Padang (opposite the National Gallery) in conjunction with the Bicentennial celebrations, which marks 200 years since Sir Stamford Raffles arrived in Singapore in 1819.
So pack your picnic bags and take the kiddos out (brace yourselves for the crowds!) to watch the National Day fireworks at these free viewing spots!

The garden is open 24 hours and there are no admission charges, so go early, bring some nibbles and sit back to enjoy the spectacle!
