Looking for affordable holiday activities to do with your kids, mama? People’s Association is offering over 80 awesome programmes this holiday season (some are even free!)
If you’re not planning to jet off for the holidays and the kids aren’t taking part in any upcoming holiday camps, why not try a mama-and-me workshop or two? People’s Association – you know, those fab folks behind Singapore’s amazing community centres, and also the ubiquitous PAssion Card – has launched a brand new schedule of classes chock-full of fun activities for parents and kiddos, from science discovery with 3M Singapore to unicorn cupcake baking, Combat Skirmish Laser Tag, yoga, kayaking and more!
Happening at various Community Centres and Community Clubs islandwide, the courses are easily accessible and affordable! Booking and payment can easily be made online at www.onepa.sg (you can even filter by location!), so all that’s left is for you to show up with your little one, mama!
The wide variety of courses available make for a myriad of unique experiences to keep your kiddos entertained. Tech courses like Creative Coding with micro:bit and Electronic Scrapbook on Smartphone will give you the chance to use gadgets in a positive way, while courses like An Adventure to Animal Management Centre can help to impart compassion and the spirit of volunteerism in kids. Want to keep fit? Urban Dance and Yoga Experience are both super fun ways to incorporate exercise and promote an active lifestyle for the whole fam!
There are crafty courses available too, with programmes like DIY Snowglobe (perfect for the upcoming festive season), Cold Wax Batik Painting, Indian Kolam Sand Art, Emoji Tote Bag Making and more!
