New Preschool Alert! White Lodge’s First Childcare Opening Soon

Early education stalwarts White Lodge will open their first childcare in River Valley, mama. Read on for deets on their learning programme, early bird discounts and more!

A preschool with childcare services, run by a renowned education group and smack in the centre of town? Yes, please! White Lodge will open doors to its eighth preschool and kindergarten, starting January 2019. The start of the River Valley Preschool will kick off a year-long campaign to celebrate White Lodge’s 20 long and established years in early childhood education. Taking children from 18 months up to six years of age, the new River Valley branch will be their first centre to offer childcare services, too!

Highly convenient

Located at River Valley Road, a mere 500m from Fort Canning MRT, the White Lodge River Valley Preschool and Kindergarten is especially convenient for those living around central Singapore and looking for a preschool-cum-childcare centre. Prefer to take the bus instead? Several bus routes go via their stop (UE Square) making that trip to school easy peasy! And if both parents are working or you need that extra bit of help, they start as early as 7am with evening pick-up at 7pm. How’s that for flexibility, mama?

The Unique White Lodge Curriculum (including S.T.E.A.M. and a bilingual Mandarin Programme)

The White Lodge curriculum is based on theories of High Scope, Reggio Emilia and Howard Gardner, and guided by a list of learning objectives that ensure high quality and creative education. There’s even a newly developed S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) programme that your little ones can look forward to at the centre. Carefully curated, this S.T.E.A.M-based curriculum promises to ignite creativity and critical thinking via a well-rounded, enriching educational experience.

And if you’re keen on bilingual learning, listen up! White Lodge River Valley will be their first centre to offer a bilingual Mandarin and Hindi programme. This is also the first centre for White Lodge that will have a dedicated Mandarin teacher in each classroom along with the lead teacher. Immersive languages and a nurturing environment – what’s not to love?!

Complete with an amazing indoor sand pit, extensive library and indoor gym, the facilities at the new school will certainly impress.
