The decorations are up on Orchard Road, Christmas music has started playing in the stores…like it or not, mama, the festive season is fast approaching. And with it will come school holidays, and, potentially, weeks of sugared up kids who are also bored (a dangerous combination). Running weekly from late November through late December, the Keys’ fun and innovative holiday camps for kids cover a range of engaging real-life subjects that cater to every interest, from “Space Robots”, to “Little Architects”, to “F1 Challenge” to “Spy Master” (perfect for aspiring Bournes and Bonds!).

Suited to children aged 4 through 12 (with different classes for each two-year age group), each camp runs Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm, and is limited to 10 children per class to ensure kiddos get tons of personal attention.

Camp Asia: Holiday Camps in Singapore

Camp Asia

Offering some of Singapore’s most popular camps throughout the year, Camp Asia caters to kids as young as 3 all the way up to age 16. With all camps being held at Stamford American International School’s state-of-the-art campus, families are spoiled for choice, with Multi-Activity camps, Super Soccer, Super Gymnastics, Super Chef, Drama Academy, Science, and Robotics and Coding.

With three weeks of availability, why not try a few? We love that Camp Asia’s camps run all day (from 9am to 3pm) and include lunch. There’s even a convenient bus for easy pick-ups and drop-offs.

CIS: Holiday and Christmas camps at Jurong Lakeside

Canadian International School (CIS)

Geared toward little ones as young as 4 (all the way up through 14!), CIS caters to a range of interests with its sports, multi-activity, creative arts & performance, and STEAM camps, all offered at its stunning Jurong Lakeside campus (we’d like to go just to play on that awesome playground!).

Flexibility is the name of the game here, with morning, afternoon and full day schedules available. High-energy kiddos will get to try out a range of different sports and outdoor activities, while aspiring writers and thespians will love the artistic, literary and musical pursuits of creative arts camp. Meanwhile, STEAM will get little ones started on the wonders of coding, robot building, and app design!

Held at GESS’s beautiful Junior School campus in lush Bukit Timah and running in December and January, these camps are conducted in English . Children aged 6-12 can choose from sports camps (either Soccer-specific, or “World of Sports”), Whizz Kids (technology), or multi-activity camps with activities like filmmaking, music video creation, yoga, and “Crazy Science”. GESS even offers a cool option called Camp Hulk where kiddos can combine one of the sports camps with a Dr. Droid Technology Camp to tackle cool projects like 3D printing, Lego Robotics, Droid Wars and more.

From its lovely setting in Bukit Timah, The Open Centre’s fun all-day Resilience & Mindfulness camps run throughout November and December. Here, children and adolescents can get real life experience practicing their social and problem solving skills through fun-filled interactions with others. ACT3: Holiday Camps for Kids in Singapore

ACT 3 Drama Academy

What better way to get little ones in the holiday spirit than with ACT 3 Drama Academy’s Christmas-themed drama workshops? Little ones will cover classics like Puss in Boots, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Mother Goose and more, all the while igniting their imagination and having heaps of fun in the process! We love this award-winning fine arts school that offers 15 different programs in painting, sketching and sculpture to kiddos ranging from 2.5 all the way to 17! Parents are welcome, too! We particularly recommend the always-popular ‘Artrageous Camp’, a full-day program bursting with interesting art activities that expose kiddos to vast worlds of creativity!
