Grab the kids and get psyched: the March holidays will be packed with awesome activities at Saturday Kids – with way more than just coding!

With just two weeks left on the calendar before the school holidays commence, have you thought about how to occupy your little ones? If your kiddo is into all things tech, Saturday Kids has kicked things up a notch with a line-up of tech activities that go way beyond just coding!

From 2-hour workshops to 4/5-day camps happening from 10 – 18 March, kids aged 5 to 16 years old can try out a variety of hands-on activities to go along with popular courses like Scratch programming, building mobile apps, or modifying Minecraft games, all of which help kids become curious, inventive and resourceful.

Check out our tops picks of Saturday Kids workshops and camps!

2-hour Workshops

Paint in 3D with Tilt Brush
Kids will learn to create their own world in virtual reality!
This workshop will give them a primer to the Tilt Brush software by Google, allowing them to draw, create and paint their dreams in 3D.

Build Your Own Robo-Pet
Think it may be too early to gift your little one a real pet? Why not test their pet owner skills by letting them build their own robot pet?! Using the new Hummingbird Robotics kit, this
two-hour introductory robotics workshop will cover all things coding, electronics and physical prototyping. Kids will get to engage with basic engineering while immersing themselves in the design-thinking process, encouraging them to learn by exploring with craft materials to build a working electronic model of their favourite animal. (Hummingbird Kit available for purchase if the kids wish to bring home their robotic pet.)

Psst… Make sure to join what might be the first Robot Petting Zoo to come to Singapore! In conjunction with Singapore Design Week, Saturday Kids is creating a small installation where kids and adults are welcome to interact with robotic pets. Cute! Follow them on Facebook for all the latest updates!
