Children’s Cove Preschool Launches New Wing Offering Enrichment Classes & Outdoor Fun to All Kids

Children’s Cove Preschool’s new wing now open for enrichment classes like ballet, swimming and STEM activities

Children’s Cove Preschool has just launched a new wing with fun activities (exploring the edible garden, tinkering in the Maker’s Lab) and a range of enrichment classes from ballet to swimming!

When the Children’s Cove opened last year we were blown away by their huge expanse of outdoor greenery complete with massive sand pit, forest trail and pond that beckoned for outdoor learning and play! Well now this forward-thinking preschool has just upped their game again by building a new extension wing at Jalan Penjara (Queenstown) with even more facilities to offer your lucky kids! There’s a new dedicated dance studio for ballet and an even bigger library promoting literacy and reading skills!

So what’s in store at the new wing?

1. Outdoor learning spaces: Children will get the chance to explore the edible garden (this will be eye opening for picky eaters to see where food comes from!), plus there will be outdoor learning classes on offer to keep kids engaged and in touch with the environment. There’s outdoor storytelling and show and tell (we love how teachers use the large rock formation pictured below as a natural stage for kids to stand on for show and tell). And don’t forget every kids’ fave activity – playing in the sand pit!

2. Special learning spaces: A new Maker’s Lab will get little scientists excited with its introduction to the world of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). There is also a new dance studio for kids to learn ballet and other dance.

3. Enrichment classes: With everything under one roof, Children’s Cove is set to be the next go-to spot for families on the weekend. Ballet, Swimming (taken by external swim experts aquaDucks) and more!
