Whether you’re looking to score beautiful handmade home décor or you’re on the hunt for unique gifts and souvenirs made in Asia that you can send to friends and family back home, ‘tis the season for holiday fairs in Singapore! What’s more, many fairs work to support charities and educational initiatives near and far, so these are gifts you can feel good about!

Carpenter & Cook

Artisan bakery and vintage home store Carpenter Cook will be hosting en exciting new shopping experience that’s sustainable and guilt-free! A section of their space will be transformed into a ‘workshop’, where you’re invited to select from an extensive range of exquisite off-cuts and sample swatches donated by interior furnishing company Romanez. Local social enterprise Sowing Room will then provide a one-off bespoke service for you to have fabrics of your choice made into tote bags, straw holders, clutches, lunch bags, cushion covers, pouches, oven mitts and more! The items will then be ready for collection or delivery in 10 working days.

Boutiques: The Gifting Edition

A staple event on our Christmas fair calendar, the annual Boutiques Fairs Singapore is back at the F1 Pit Building. The curated mix of over 250 independent vendors has everything from women’s, men’s and children’s fashion to jewellery, accessories, toys and gorgeous pieces for your home. You’re sure to find a gift for even the most difficult family member. You’ll also find lots of yummy food, heaps of kids’ activities, and a wide range of free and paid crafting workshops.

Bugis Junction Christmas Market

Be spoilt for choice at the biggest Christmas Market in Bugis! There will be 20 F&B, lifestyle, accessories, toys and collectibles booths by various Bugis Junction retailers and several one-of-a-kind carnival game booths. Get your cameras ready mama because there will be plenty of Instagram-worthy opportunities thanks to the magical colours and lights!

The Great Christmas Village on Orchard Road

Back by popular demand after its launch in 2017, the Christmas Village at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza will include a duplex carousel (including special wheelchair-accessible seats) and other amusement rides, and, new this year, a Santa House where children can participate in free arts & crafts activities and partake in meet-and-greets with Santa Claus every Friday and Saturday night between 7pm and 9pm. The Great Christmas Village will run for 42 days this year (compared to just 30 last year), from 15 November to 26 December.

UWCSEA Holiday Fair

Get set for not one but two specially-curated vendor halls with all manner of holiday shopping opportunities, including sustainable, handmade and/or ethically sourced goods, fair-trade fashion, beautifully hand-crafted jewelry, unique home-living items, toys and books, healthy foods and wine products and MORE, mama! Be sure to bring along the kiddos, too, as there’ll also be free deck-your-cookie stations, art and upcycling craft activities, outside games, and even a 3D green screen photo booth.

Sentosa Cove Holiday Market

Jointly organised by Sentosa Cove Resort Management and ONE°15 Marina Club, with partners Quayside Isle and W-Singapore, the Sentosa Cove Holiday Market will feature specially curated gourmet and retail stalls inspired by Europe’s famed Christmas markets. Kiddos can also look forward to carnival games and rides, and of course Santa Claus will also make an appearance for some photos. Throw in a lucky draw and a beautiful Boat Light Parade and we dare you to not feel festive, mama!

Tabitha Foundation Silk Fairs

Silk is a lovely Asian-inspired gift idea for family and friends back home and the Tabitha Foundation Silk Fair stocks the finest hand-sewn Cambodian threads, such as silk accessories, scarves, ornaments and home decor! Christmas Fair (and Santa!) @ Cluny Court

In case you need another reason to visit Cluny Court, mark your calendar for their annual Christmas Fair (and Santa sessions), the one-stop destination for all your festive needs. Danish Christmas Bazaar

The traditional, Danish Christmas Bazaar at the Danish Seamen’s Church is back again this year! The Christmas Bazaar has become an institution in itself in Singapore, and you are guaranteed 100% Christmas spirit with handmade decorations, Christmas foods and sweets, open faced sandwiches, hotdogs, beer, children’s creative corner, lucky draws, live music and a visit from Santa himself! NB: entry is $2, parking available but limited.

St. Joseph’s Institution International Elementary School (SJIIES) Holiday Fair

Fun, Magical and Festive, the SJIIES holiday fair will feature family-friendly rides and game stalls in addition to plenty of pre-Christms retail therapy and delicious food. Tanglin Trust School PTA Christmas Fair

Get ready for heaps of festive fun, mama! Plus a lovely $10 shop (where kids can purchase gifts for their parents) and – best of all – Santa’s Grotto!

Leave it to GESS and their beloved Christmas Bazaar to bring a bit of Europe’s famous Christmas markets to the little red dot! From community music performances to gift and decoration booths and Christmas-themed food and drinks, it’ll be impossible not to get in the holiday spirit, mama. Plus it’s a great chance to check out their spiffy new campus!

Christmas Glamour Fair at the Fullerton Hotel

For a grander Christmas shopping experience away from the typical mall hustle and bustle, browse for fashion, crafts, jewellery, stationery, home decor and food in the Grand Ballroom of The Fullerton Hotel. Best of all, the fair helps support Caring for Cambodia – an organisation committed to securing education and essentials for families in poverty. So you can do good while you shop.

The 1880 General Store Preview Party 

Private members club 1880 is running a special edition festive shopping pop-up; it will mostly be open to members only, but there’s a special preview party open to the public (with free sparkling wine, no less!) on Monday 3 December. Featuring an eclectic mix of products and championing local businesses and passion projects from 1880 members, the general store will feature cool homegrown brands like artisanal aromatherapy goods from Mmerci Encore, designer handbags from House of Sheens, and fragrances from Singapore Perfumers Scent by Six. You’ll also find a whole range of craft beers, artisan spirits, and fine wines.

Expat Traders Christmas Fair

Stop by this convenient location right at the top of Orchard Road to peruse a wide array of vendors that can cater to all your fashion, gourmet food and gift-giving needs, mama! We love that this fair supports Caring for Cambodia and Tabitha Foundation Singapore!

The Sustainable Christmas Fair 

The Sustainable Christmas Fair promotes sustainable products, ethical food companies and local start-ups you can feel good about, mama. Discover treats for your Christmas table, beautiful gifts created from recycled materials, handmade decorations from tribal artisans and much more. Kids can look forward to Christmas face painting from 2pm to 4pm, and all visitors will enjoy a 25% discount off lunch or dinner at Winestone on the day!

Public Garden Christmas

If off-beat is your thing, then this is the fair for you. Expect to find hip, quirky brands from across Asia, including many homegrown names, touting all sorts of gorgeous products. The organisers welcome brands from any industry, as long as they have a good concept. So this is the place to find that one-of-a-kind gift.

Loewen Gardens Christmas Market

The Christmas edition of The Farmers Market at Loewen Gardens will feature festive food, drinks and gifts alongside staples like fresh organic vegetables, olive oil, cheese, bread and wine. And there’s plenty of outdoor fun (like a giant trampoline!) to keep kiddos entertained, too.

Christmas Tomorrowland and Artisan Craft Fair at Bugis Junction and Bugis+

Bugis Junction and Bugis+ are combining for a massive Christmas Market that will run daily from 12 noon to 9pm, all the way through 30 December. Besides carnival booths and a massive array of pop-up food and beverage booths, you’ll find an Artisan Craft Market at Bugis+ featuring a rotating slate of local artisan brands (twinkling lollipops, anyone?). The mall is also offering its #YouDoYou Customisation Service, where you can stitch, patch, and charm your holiday purchases to make them completely unique (free for shoppers with a minimum $120 spend!).
