BOTANY by Dazzling Cafe

Botany by Dazzling Café along the river at Robertson Quay boasts lots of natural daylight in its white walled interiors. It’s all about wholesome food here — from one of the most beautiful plates of Avocado Sourdough Toast with Egg that we’ve seen on this sunny island, to Asian dishes like Otah Chips ($13+) reminiscent of spam fries (but of course healthy). Co-owner Casandra Tan is a mother of two with a Western husband, so she full well understands the need for wholesome food healthy enough to give to kids guilt free, to satisfy both those who want western flavours as well as those who are hankering after Asian dishes. There’s a small table inside for little tykes to play blocks or colour and outdoors there’s scooting opps along the river, making this a kid-friendly spot.
