Cuckoo launches its first Singapore Store in Dempsey Hill

Say goodbye to dull children’s bedrooms mamas, because Singapore’s lifestyle brand for littlies Cuckoo has opened their first brick-and mortar-store! Before now, you could only get their inspired collection online, but you’ll finally be able to head over to Dempsey Hill to see their tasteful products in person. They have quite limited opening hours during their soft-launch period, from 10am – 3pm from Monday – Saturday, but it’s worth scheduling in the trip as we popped by last week to tackle some birthday party shopping list items and were amazed to find we could do a one-stop shop! Admittedly you’ll probably find it easier if you’re shopping for little girls as it is a bit of a girly paradise…

Their 800 square foot boutique will take you back to the enchanting years of childhood, with beautiful vintage-inspired pieces as well as a few modern touches for the trend-setting mama. They’ve even got a charming garden space out back so your littles can play as you peruse. Aside from their own magical collection, they’ve also hand-selected some of their favourite pieces from a number of local and international brands and we’ve picked a few of our current favourites below!

How gorgeous are Cuckoo’s peacock-inspired headboards? With a number of colour options like white, dusky pink, aqua, fuschia and natural, there’ll be something for every bed and bedroom. We love the Lady Peacock design above, which is a stunning take on the fabulous bird’s tail.

We’ve raved about Armadillo&Co’s fun hemp rugs before, but we just had to bring up their vibrant Dandelion rug. Treading the line between modern and rustic, we love the sneaky rainbow rings which add just the right amount of colour.

We find Cuckoo’s in-house stuffed toy animal trophies absolutely hilarious (and just the right side of morbid). They’re perfect to hang on that awkward blank wall you have absolutely no idea what to do with and come in a number of styles, including an elephant, polar bear, fox and monkey.
