Parents, under Singapore’s new SG Child Support Package, Singapore citizen children aged 1 to 16 will receive $2,000 in Child Credits every year. That’s up to $32,000 from ages 1 to 16.
The first payout starts in April 2027, with subsequent payouts made on your child’s birthday.
And there’s one important thing to sort out before then: the payouts will be sent to the bank account linked to your child’s PayNow ID, using their NRIC or birth certificate number. Parents should set this up before 1 April 2027 to receive the payouts promptly.
