2. Drop the kids off to get some Mama Me-time

If you can’t relax until your munchkins are happy and occupied, you’ll def want to check out the Children’s Art Studio. Open throughout the weekend, it’s offering a range of free, fun-filled workshops for children aged 4+ from Children’s Art studio Provider Little Artists Art Studio. An “exploratory art adventure” theme will combine hands-on fine arts workshops for children of varying ages, in varying mediums and styles, while kiddos can also take their own special youth tours around the fair. The aim is to make high art accessible and engaging to young minds brimming with unspent creativity and youthful inspiration!

Kiddos can also drop by the Australian International School’s space to participate in a collaborative wall art project and stand a chance to win one of 3 holiday camps provided by Camp Asia. Feel truly inspired at Level 3, Paddock 1 (Room D), mama!

3. Refuel with Fam-Friendly F&B

Need to recharge after getting your shop on, mama? Enjoy some artistic treats from the Affordable Art Fair’s official food and beverage partner, Bistro 1855. Fancy a cheese platter with a glass of wine, or a healthy cous cous salad and quiche? Then take a pit stop and feast your eyes on the 1855 experience, which also features a wide range of yummy bar bites that are sure to be kid pleasers.

Sassy Papas (or Mamas!) who aren’t feeling artsy will be happy to know that Peroni is proud to be the Official Beer Partner of the Affordable Art Fair’s Autumn Edition for the third year running, while parents in need of a pick-me-up will be delighted to hear the Affordable Art Fair will be serving gorgeous coffee from Common Man Coffee Roasters, purveyors of quite possibly the finest beans in Singapore!

4. Enjoy Family Bonding with Special Creative Workshops

We know everyone’s definition of art is different, but it’s also fascinating to realise that everyone can enjoy and relate to art, no matter their age! Affordable Art Fair believes everyone – whether a child artist, a collector, or an art expert – should be able to enjoy art. So visitors are encouraged to immerse themselves in innovative art activities designed for the whole family. This November there will be a range of workshops including coffee painting with creative partner Canvass, chocolate painting with rockstar chocolatier Janice Wong, and ceramic art workshops to benefit charity partner Woodbridge Hospital Charity Fund.
