You’re Invited: Free Storytime Playgroup and Meet & Greet at AIS

Storytime and Playgroup make for a winning combination in Sassy Mama’s eyes! Find out how your little ones can meet real live characters from a children’s classic!

Love storybooks? Sassy Mamas and their children are invited to a special What the Ladybird Heard-themed playgroup on 6 October at The Australian International School! Attendees will get to meet a surprise cast of characters ahead of the play adapted from this award-winning children’s picture book by Julia Donaldson and Lydia Monks (which you can see live in Singapore from 9-11 October, mama!).

To kick things off, kiddos will enjoy an interactive storytime reading of What the Ladybird Heard, which promises farmyard adventure, audience participation and guaranteed lots of laughs!

Next they’ll step into the world of theatre with a drama workshop conducted by none other than the actors starring in the show! Conducted by Faust, the largest performing arts school in Hong Kong, this workshop aims to bring out children’s self-confidence and teamwork skills, as well as ignite their imagination and creative minds.

To top it all off, playgroup guests will stand a chance to win one of 5 sets of Category 1 family tickets worth $400 (4 tickets in total) to watch the play-based version of the story live on stage at the SOTA Theatre in October!

This complimentary and exciting playgroup is for children ages 1 to 6 years old.
