Sassy Scoop: What’s New at The Garden House Preschool!

Tucked away on a shady, tree-lined street in Bukit Batok, eco-friendly preschool, The Garden House Preschool (we first introduced you to their emergent curriculum here!) is still accepting applications for the limited spaces available in their nursery programme, and with the new school term right around the corner, now is the perfect time to enroll your busy bees, mama!

The lovely teachers from Garden House have been hard at work in recent months, tending to the school’s veggie patch (keeping it thriving despite the lack of rain!), preparing for the school’s holiday programme at the end of May, and coordinating an exciting free nutrition workshop with The Nutrition Clinic, for parents on March 28. They’ve even launched the school’s brand-new website that is brimming with helpful information about this very special preschool.

Besides their regular preschool programme, where little explorers are encouraged to head to the great outdoors to discover and learn, Garden House also has a number of exciting parent-accompanied classes for teeny tinies. Launching their new 50-minute Seedling class (to be held on Wednesdays at 3pm), mums and bubs from 6 months of age, will spend a happy time having fun in these musical play sessions! They’ve even started a new parent-child yoga class (in conjunction with Lalita Yoga) held every Monday and Wednesday afternoon from 3:30-4:30pm, that’ll have your little yogis doing downward facing dogs and sun salutations in no time.

And if that wasn’t quite enough, Garden House also offers a special Sproutling programme that allows littlies 15 months to 3 years to explore something new each week, engaging their senses and honing their green thumbs… all with the comfort of a parent nearby! A lovely way for your tikes to make new friends, it’s also the ideal way to ease your child into the school’s drop-off classes.
