No More US Amazon Free Shipping for Singapore

Amazon shoppers take note, you can say goodbye to the Free AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping with a minimum order of US$125!

Amazon just announced the launch of its Prime membership programme for Singapore and unlimited free international shipping will now be exclusively a Prime member benefit on orders above S$60. The good news is that if you are a regular Amazon shopper (for a limited time only peeps) you can join Prime with a special introductory rate of S$2.99 per month (it will normally be S$8.99/month). Once you are a paid member (try Prime by signing up for a free 30-day trial at www.amazon.com.sg) then you do still get free shipping to Singapore and you only have to spend $$60 as opposed to US$125. Prime Now, which was launched in July (read all about it here) with a free two-hour delivery from its local warehouse with a minimum order of S$40, will also be made exclusive for members.

Prime membership benefits in Singapore include:

• Free Two-Hour Delivery with Prime Now: free two-hour delivery on orders over S$40, between 10am and 10pm daily.
